Ok remember that show "The highlander," it was based off a book and movie. It was an immortal dude who had to cut off the heads of the other immortal dudes because, "there could be only one...." Well it was first a book, then a movie, THEN A TV SERIES! Yes, oh yes....Twilight should be a 1 cable show.

I almost get afraid about that just because I dont want the story line to go in crazy places. When you get to Breaking Dawn you'll see that Bella and Edward's story is "wrapped up". I'm not sure who it would focus on

The truth still is though that I'd watch a Twilight TV show religiously no matter what they did with it!

I have to go and buy breaking dawn. My niece only has the 1st 3. None of which she has been able to read yet because I took them. It can't end this soon. Only 4 books?

It's not just 4 books... there's also Midnight Sun.

but yeah, I agree... I would prefer they didn't ever do a TV show, although I would probably watch it.

nooooo, a TV show would be bad!!!!!!! The series is wrapped up perfectly the way it is. I would love if she would write it from Edward's perspective, and maybe a wolfpack spinoff.....maybe something about Jacob and youknowwho as well..........but nothing more to the direct twilight line...

As I'm reading through the other books all I can think of is 'how can she NOT write this from Edward's perspective too!?" I mean it's not like she's really making this stuff up.,.. her character's stories want and need to be told... which is how Midnight Sun began... so I don't really see how she could stop at just Twilight.

I have to admit that a guilty pleasure in the past few years was the "Gossip Girl" series-- also for teens. I CANNOT watch the TV show because of how they "expand" {read: botch} the story lines and the appearance of the characters. It just doesn't work for me!! I am afraid this would happen with Twilight as well. Plus, the special effects would be super expensive!
