I was arguing with Dustin yesterday while sorting laundry, and I felt the baby move! I have been having flutters for a week or so, but this was a definite baby feeling that I have never experienced before. It felt like a fish out of water flopping in my lower tummy. It only lasted a second, but when I poked the area I felt it again!
However, ever since I haven't felt anything It is really bumming me out.

Aww, it'll happen again, and the big movements will become more frequent. I promise!

Well I guess the baby knew I wanted to feel more action b/c I felt some awesome activity tonight!! I was lying on the couch watching Sleepless in Seattle, and when I flipped to my other side I felt a bunch of tapping low in my uterus area! It was a lot of tapping too for about 5 seconds, and the last one I felt from the OUTSIDE of my belly! I am getting so excited now, I need to order some cloth diapers!

The baby flutters is one of the most exciting parts of pregnancy.
BUT I share my experience since this is a phase of pregnancy that can really test your sanity.
When I first felt baby move I was ecstatic and would be walking around super aware trying to feel him/her again but then days would go by, sometimes even a week or more and I wouldn't feel anything. And this was apparently NORMAL!! If that wasn't bad enough, sometimes I'd feel movement for a couple consecutive days and then nothing, it is such a hard thing to become accustom to because you start wondering if the baby's alright, maybe somethings wrong, should I call the doctor. It is quite a challenge. BUT eventually, you start to feel the flutters every day and it's wonderful until they really start to grow and begin kicking you senseless that you have to beg for a break.

Aww, that is so great! It's so great when you start to feel baby moving more and more. Like Mari said, don't worry if you don't feel it every day though at first. I had some days where baby was very quiet.

I have found that baby movements are linked with emotion....when I am upset about something, that's when I feel the baby move the most. But in the beginning, the movements are very irregular and it is normal to go days without feeling much. I didn't even feel any movements until 18 weeks, and they didn't become a daily occurance until after 20 weeks. But I know how you feel, though....a few days ago I went an entire day without feeling much movement, and I broke down and started crying. But the next day he was moving around a lot again. How exciting that you felt your little one for the first time, though!!!!
