How about you all list something positive about TTC? This thread is an attempt to get Lash to post OUTSIDE of the twilight thread. Remember us Lash? LOL

If you have nothing positive, feel free to scoff. Remember the JM censors though

I get to see a different side of DH!! It is this excited side of him that I love!!! He knows I know a lot about this stuff, so I love when he asks me questions!!! The increased sex is also awesome!!! We have great talks about it and he now knows how to tell if an OPK is positive!! Both us of were in long realationships and both engaged to other people before we met, so this is something we are both new to, we get to experience together for the first time, and that is very exciting to us!!

TTC is exciting to me. Of course I'm still pretty new to this and maybe it won't be as exciting if it takes a long time, but for now I love it most of the time. I'm positive that I will get pregnant in 2009, but not knowing when it'll happen is exciting and fun. I'm crazy like that.

The only positive thing about TTC is that I know when I'm going to get pregnant.. With Adriana it was a complete surprise.. I like knowing because I'm prepared for it..

Me and DH have both said we wanted kids since we discussed it when we started dating... 7.5 yrs ago! We had wanted to try after we got married (4.5 yrs ago), but I had just been accepted to school which made it impossible. Soooo, this is a very exciting time for us after waiting so very long. DH loves all the 'attention' he gets from me. I also enjoy the fact that I have come to these crossroads in my life and I feel ready and excited to start a family.

[[shakes head in confusion]] something OUTSIDE the Twilight thread?

Honestly though its been the only thing keeping me here! I know thats sad but true. Its why I havent taken one of those often needed posting breaks that we all take on month 2o849872340pkasd of TTC

I am feeling hopeful that something will happen to me one day (instead of being angry that I dont know when or how we will procur a baby at some point). I know it may take meds, or docs or adoption or whatever but at least one day it will happen. This gives me hope. Hope is the best of things

I will not be without children forever. There is a reason I am having to wait and I'm ok with it... for now

2008 sucked for me. Its very much a perspective shift to imagine I tried to get pregnant in the YEAR of 2008 and got nothing. The YEAR. Not a few months or part of it, but the whole year of 2008 was a bust. At this point, if I dont get pregnant in the next few months, I wont even HAVE a baby until 2010. It could be this time next year before I even meet my child

Hey at least you know I"m reading the threads.. just not responding to any others. Consider yourself special (but I have to respond because you arent just the founder, you are the president)

Awh Lash I am jealous of that twilight thread b/c I still don't have the time to read the books and so I am missing out! But I understand TTC sucks, I mean, I have sort of forgotten to be honest, but I remember thinking it sucked. And you are right that posting somewhere is better then taking a break. I took at least 3 total JM meltdown breaks when I was TTC, so I get that.

I'm glad you are still reading though, b/c I miss you! I know you will be a mom, it will happen. 2009 will be a better year I think

I'm surprisingly middle of the road-- pissed as hell but maybe not that pissed?

and read the books already so you can name your child after Twilight like we all want to... once that baby is born and named, its gonna be too late

I had my own JM meltdown-- Twilightmoms would have stolen me away for awhile, away from mommy stuff if the Twilight thread hadnt started!

TTC has done amazing things for DH and my relationship. I feel a lot closer to him, and i don't just mean physically!

I can already feel the need to take a break from posting though. I was addicted to JM before but now it's insane and this is only my first cycle trying!
