My poor car!!

Two nights ago DH had to work night shift and it was his turn to drive in the car pool!! He always takes my Lexus because it is better on gas than our Toyota PU!! Well, while he was at work it started to snow!! My car is so bad in the snow, I was worried sick all night thinking he would crash on the way home!!! I had called him at work to tell him I was O'ing and we needed to have sex when he got home, so for him to wake me up!!! Morning time came and DH stormed in our bedroom flicked on all lights and yelled "you awake"?? I looked at him and said "tht isno way to wake me up for sex"!! I looked at the clock and it was 6:45, he is usually home by 6:15!! He then told me he wrecked my car on the home!! He was going around the roundabout close to home, when he started to slide, the ABS brakes kicked in and prevented him from being able to slow down, steer or anything!! He hit the curb and broke the front Axel!! He managed to drive it home very slowly, almost crashing every 10 feet becaus ethe tire would just turn on it's own!! I saw tire marks on my road where he almost drove into the mail boxes!! Anyways, he was so mad, he was yelling and telling me how sorry he was and all I could say was "does this mean we aren't going to have sex"!!

I didn't give a crp about my car, all I know was that I was O'ing and we needed to have sex!! We did have sex, nto enjoyable for either of us though, we both kinda "faked it" until 15 mins later he finish...whew, crisis averted!!!!

I spent the better part of yesterday talking to our insurance company, aranging towing and a rental car!!! As I write this the tow man is taking my car away!!! I have to go pick up my rental car in about an hour!! Thank goodness my insurance covers towing and a rental card!!! The worst part about all of this is our rates will now go up!!!

aww.. That sucks.. I'm sorry to hear about your car.. I'm thinking you live in the west side of the state.. I'm in N. Idaho, near Spokane and we have a ton of snow here. Want some more?

Having the right kind of tires can make a difference when driving in snow. But I'm glad to hear your DH was alright.. The front axle is vary expensive to fix.. Make sure your get a new ones, most companies will give you a refurbished one and it's not so reliable.

I live in Tri Cities, so not even as close to the amount of snow as Spokane!!! It is going to the Toyota dealership so I think it wil be new....I hope it will be new!! We are going to get new tires now....a little to late though!! That car was never supposed to be driven in the snow, that what we have our truck for!! Oh well, nothing I can do about it now..LOL!!!

We've had over 70 inches of snow fall so far and of course it's still snowing.. I'd wish it would stop.. I'm running out of places to put all the snow. But I heard the Tri-Cities had a few snow falls as well..

You should get all weather tires and get them sipped (sp?).. My DH has all weather sipped (sp?) tires on his Honda Civic and he does well in the snow..

I hope you get a BFP this month.. That would be a great story to keep in your baby book.. hehe..

Oh man, it sucks that your car got totalled. That's horrible!!

I am impressed though that you were able to keep a level head and still get your groove on!

I just talked to the people who are going to fix it and they said it needs a new control arm, new ball joints and a new wheel!!! BOOO, that said they might be able to get it back to me by friday!!!
I was thinking that would be an awesome story to put in the baby book!!!
