I know some pregnant women hear from people "wow you are so big!" and "are there twins in there?" But I am SICK of people telling me I am too small!
Some of the daycare moms are saying I'm too small and not gaining enough. I'm already alittle sensitive about the weight. I've only gained 8 pounds since the beginning. My doctor says she wants me to start trying to gain more but there is no reason to worry about it. So I'm not worried, but I am SOOOO ANNOYED!!!!

I'm sorrry hun I think it's really rude to comment on someone's size regardless! I can't even tell you how many rude comments I got when I was preggo with aden, although they were of the "too big" variety. Every woman is different so people should really just shut their fat mouths!

Aww I'm sorry Morgan! I can understand why you a pregnant woman would be sensitive about it, and its really no one else's place to judge! I'm sure I've commented to people things like 'oh you're so cute, look at how tiny you are' or something that might have unintentionally hurt their feelings. But people should never use adjectives like 'too' small or tell you to gain weight! You and your doctor know what's going on and what's best for you and they can just take their negativity and shove it! I think that you look adorable and just right! Besides, how big do they want you to look? You aren't due until May!

People can be so insensitive!! A girl I work with is 7 months preggo and has only gained 12lbs, everyone says the same thing to her, your to tiny, go eat....etc...., it drives her crazy!! I think you look amazing!!

It is so incredibly rude to comment on a woman's size pregnant or not. My belly always grows fast and soon so I tend to get the "big" comments.
However, even though my belly got pretty big with Lochy I only gained 14 pounds and I carried him to 40 weeks exactly. He was born at 8 pounds 5 ounces so you can see that your weight gain is not a direct correlation to how big your baby is/will be!

Jealous morons. They were huge houses when they were preggo, and I bet they envy your cuteness!!
I mean honestly, you look great for how preggo you are, and have a nice belly.
Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a jerk about your friends. But I don't like a lot of comments either. When people tell me I have a "pooch" I want to smash their face in

People will find something to say regardless! They just never know to keep their mouths shut.
Recently someone said to me, WOW, you're belly is getting so big and my response was, "Duh, there's a child growing in there, what do you expect?" I think I sounded a bit rude but I didn't care.

Easier said than done, but try to ignore it. (I'm one to talk, though, 'cause I'm still trying to come up w/ the perfect zinger for the next time my MIL tells me how fat I am!) I'm 28.5 weeks & have gained about 10 or 11 lbs. but my dr. is not at all concerned. I gained 20 lbs. last time & people have been telling me that I'm supposed to gain more. I don't care. Joshua is measuring perfectly for his gestational age & Abby was 6 lbs. 14 oz. I'm only 4'10 3/8" so I don't know why people are always getting onto me about that...or it's the other extreme...that I'm sooooo huge. One of these days I will tell someone off, I'm sure!
Sorry; didn't mean to thread-jack. (((HUGS)))

Oh Morgan - I can totally related - you just have to ignore them and concentrate on what your docs tell you. I only gained 16 pounds with DS and had a healthy 6 pound 7 ounce baby!
Today I lifted up my shirt to show my friend at work my "pooch" which I thought was actually starting to stick out a little bit and she says, " You look like someone on an ab cruncher commercial". I was like "WHAT, I'm preggo - I have a little preggo belly" and she's like "No, no you don't". I was bummed - so I feel ya!

Aww Morgan you're perfect!! My sister gained the least weight with Nicky {no correlation to his random heart problems} and he was the biggest of all her babies at 6 lb and 7 ounces!!

I'm sorry sweetie.. It's better then the opposite.
When I was pregnant with Adriana another co-worker was pregnant with twins and she was about 3 weeks ahead of me.. Lets just say I looked bigger then her.. She was carrying 11 lbs worth of babies and I was carrying a 6 lb baby.. go figure OH and I only gained 5 lbs throughout my pregnancy too.. Everyone carries different..

I totally hear you on this. Everyday I get the "neat bump" comment. I'm kinda a bit more used to it now and try to take it as a positive, until last night MIL kept saying I'd got my "dates wrong"... I know for a fact I don't, the u/s at 12 and 20 weeks showed JellyBaby right on track, and my measurments of my bump by the m/w are perfect... so I know I'm fine and baby's fine
It is so difficult though. Hang in there chickie! You're baby & you are perfect and you know it

I just think it is rude to comment on someone's size! Ignore them- your baby is growing just fine and that is all that matters. I think you look wonderful!

That is so rude of them. Don't listen to them you look great, they are just jealous!
When I was 9 months pregnant, I had a lady who was about 5-6 months say to me OMG if I ever get that big I will kill myself. Then recently my good friend said "yeah you gained way too much while you were pregnant, I couldn't tell you then because that would be rude, but I thought I'd tell you now" Its like no B*tch its still rude!

Yes it is!
I got the big comments from my co-workers. One kept saying I was going to have a 20 lb baby or that I got my dates wrong.. It made me ticked off at times.

I get the big comments, I get stares as if I should be pushing a baby outta my va jay jay right then and there.
They are always shocked when I say I have a month to go... lots of people saying twins, big baby, and my dates are wrong.
SCREW YOU haha
Don't listen to them. It's SO rude to say anything about anyones weight whether it's little or big.

So your either going to be to small or to big....people will always find something.
Also I would like to say a big sorry to Fiona for the neat bump comment, didn't mean to upset you, and Michelle also to you-I use pooch when I see the stomach but not the bump. Sorry if it upset you also. I think you both look PERFECT!
I think we have the hottest preggers ever here in WTTC Grads!!!!!

No worries Angela. I often want to smack my husband upside the head, and I love him a lot You know how preggo hormones are, sometimes you just can't win. I even irritate myself
