yikes! started small and then jolted! Scarrred me!!! I jumped up and the dog started barking! It's not on the news yet so more to come on the magnitude! We've had quite a few lately - since this summer!

ETA: 4.9 in San Bernardino County....county next to mine (where I work)

scary.. I'm glad your okay.

I was in a couple earthquakes when I was stationed in Camp Pendleton. It was scary and I'm thankful we don't have earthquakes up here in the Inland Northwest..

We are near a fault in the good ol mts of WV. There is supposed to be a pretty large fault around KY/TN/VA or something like that lol. That's the reason the mts are here. BUT thankfully it hasn't done anything big in well, I don't know how long! LOL. I'm glad you are ok!

Yikes, earthquakes. Those things scare me. All of our natural disasters you can see coming (hurricanes and tornadoes)... but earthquakes? The fact that you can't see them coming scares the poo out of me!

Yup, I felt it! Im in the same area too. I was on my laptop and DH was on the couch next to me. I said "Earthquake!" and he just sat there, Cambria was in her entertainer infront of the window. I told him to grab her and he freaked out. I just sat on the couch...haha, Im so used to them.

I was on the couch - DH was playing RB- i said I think we are having an earthquake and right when he turned around the big jolt hit us- we both got up but I tripped and laptop fell on floor- well that made DH mad....but it was a minor one! we did feel aftershock too....I'm getting more and more used to them now.
