in this wonderful economies layoffs.. Chris's dept at work got called into a meeting last night and they were told the company is doing company wide layoffs... They havent said who or when.. but we are scared ######less! He got into work this morning and they had made ammendments to the severance policy also. I'm hoping that his job will be spared, he has been there for 3 years, and there are many people company wide that make thousands more than him...
If you ladies could keep us in your T's & P's please!!

My brother got a 20% pay cut then he got laid off a week later when they found out he was looking for another job 
This stuff just overall stinks

It really is frightening how common this is getting. DH finished his job today as well. He's taking a month out as technically he is on holiday for the next 4 weeks, then will look for something. But it's scary

It is so scary! and now all I can think of is what if we get pregnant this cycle?? what if we dont? do we put it off "just in case" or do we keep trying even tho we dont know! There are so many things going through my head! Fi how are you keeping sane!?

Kaleigh, I will definitely be sending lots of positive job vibes your way! But having some fallback plans is smart too, just in case. As for whether you are or aren't pregnant this cycle, I think you guys would make it work and be just fine either way. Remember, babies don't know or care how much money their parents make! They only care if they are loved, and that won't be a problem for you guys!
