Am I the only one that has never known a single person in their entire "real" life that actually has wall letters of the baby's name in their nursery? How weird is that!? And I used to nanny!
Maybe, just maybe, we are all nuts and only JM chicks online do it and yes, I think wall letters are cute

Yeah, it would have never occurred to me. I mean, I know what my baby's name is, why do I need it on the wall? But seeing it here I do think it is cute. I also feel like I sorta have to do it too. Peer pressure to be crafty, lol

Ya same! I think if I suggested it to James he'd be like "Uh.. why? You think you're going to forget baby's name?" haha. It is a cute touch though!
I may or may not do it Depends, I still don't know for sure what I'm doing for his/her "nursery" part of our bedroom. Depends on if she's a she or he is a he.. lol.

I wasn't sure if I was going to do it because it's kind of trendy but I did. I love looking at his name above his crib. I don't know why but I do.

I actually know alot of people around here that do it, and for some reason because I see it so much both online and in real life, I am not sure I want to do it now
I laughed earlier imagining myself showing my kids their baby pics 20 years from now. I see things in my baby pics that are avacado green/maize yellow.. you know, the colors of the late 70's that EVERYONE had in their homes. So I'm just guessing the wall letters will be a sign of "the things in every home, the obligatory baby things of this generation"

I don't know anyone IRL that has wall letters.
I'm not wild about them being so popular, but I really like them. That's why I'm going to decoupage them so they can be unique to our baby's room.

I didn't know about them until I got here either and I don't know anyone in real life who has them. I like them though, they're cute.

nope never saw them in real life either LOL But they are cute--IF I had a nursery I probably would do them but I would get smaller ones and then put up there name in different languages all over the wall....but I would have a globe/map theme room also!

My parents had wall letters in my room when I was a baby! I still have them, I'll take a picture later today.
I painted Lily's wall letters myself, it was a super-fun project and so easy to do - and I don't have one crafty bone in my body!!
