1. Leo slept for almost 11 hours last night, with only one wake up at 7 am. He slept in his own room in his crib. This was the first night, so there was a lot of screaming/crying on his part and a lot of crying on mine. I got up to check on him at 1, 3 and 6.

2. DH's job is driving him insane, so I've started looking for a new job. My best friend called me, because DH and I were talking about me trying for this one job that would have me living in an apartment 5 days a week and coming home on weekends...leaving Leo with DH. I was so upset even thinking about it. Well, my best friend and her husband work for a company that is hiring and the boss let them bring their children to work when needed. It is still far from home, but I would work 4 days a week, live with my best friend and her family and come home for 3 days. I would get to have Leo with me all the time. It just sucks about not seeing DH all the time. We will be doing this for as long as it works out to pay off our car loan and my student loans.

3. Leo is 4 months old now. He had his doctor's visit on Thursday and his stats are 13 lbs 6 oz, 26.25 inches long and 16 inches head. He is in the 90th percentile for height, 25th for weight, and 50th for head. He did okay when he got his shots...cried after the second and third ones. He woke up Friday morning with a temperature of 101.2. He was up and down feverish yesterday, but by evening was normal and doing great.

4. Leo has started sucking in his lower lip. I call it his snapping turtle face.

(not the best picture because he was so sleepy)

Leo is growing beautifully and cheers to the him sleeping longer. I think he will settle into his room really quickly.

I'm sorry about DH's job not going so well and the options you have for working. They seem to suck either way but hopefully you can find something that works out for you and you'll get the car and student loans out of the way. Good luck!

awwww, lil Leo!!!! He is getting so big. I think It's a cute pic of him. Good for him sleeping in his crib. It may take a while for him to get used to it but It'll be ok. I want to get Cambria in her room to but DH wants her in with us all the time, lol...

Hope things work out w/ the job. WTG Leo for sleeping in his own room...I know how hard those transitions can be. He has such a mature face...and so adorable, too!

Gosh, I could swear he's older than 4-5 months! I can see the "little boy" in his face already! He is so very handsome!

I always see a more mature face in him and I want him to stop growing up so fast.

Last night was a little over 2 hours of crying/fussing before falling asleep. I talked with DH before it all and I went in and checked on him after between 5 and 10 minutes of crying. I'd get him calmed down w/out picking him up and then do it again. I did stop and check his diaper and feed him after the first hour was over. He slept in his crib from 11:30 until 3, then I brought him to our room to eat and fall asleep there.
