When I got up to the loo at 3am Fri night/Sat morning, my tummy was really sore low down - you know that horrid pain you get when you are utterly bursting to go pee? I thought nothing of it as I was needing the loo. I had it again when I got up to the loo at 6am yesterday morning, again I need to go but wasn't desperate, so put it aside.

This morning at 7am I woke up and could hardly move with the pain. Went to the loo and it was obvious I had been desperate but hadn't woke up earlier to go.

I just got up at 9am and had it again, but not too much pee cos I'd only been 2 hours before. Now walking about, sitting down and moving, I can feel it. It's that exact "desperate to pee" feeling. And when baby moves it's upper body/head I can feel it.

Is it normal with the baby pressing onn my bladder? the m/w was going to test for a urine infection as I'd mentioned light-headedness, headache and this slight pain when baby moves it's upper body... but it wasn't as painful then as it is now. Also I didn't have the desperate to pee thing. Not sore whilst actually peeing though, so I don't think it's an infection? I'm not sure what to think? If anything comes of the tests the m/w is going to call me tmor.

I'm not sure if it's normal. Something similar happens to me when I wake up at night or in the morning to go to the bathroom. My bladder always feels like it's bursting and it hurts to get up and make it to the bathroom. After I go I'm fine though. Sometimes it feels like it's bursting and there's only a trickle of urine. Also sometimes when the baby's moving I can feel a "sticking" or pinching sensation on my bladder.

That sounds the same as I'm feeling when baby move Mari, quite a sharp but short type of pain. I'm guessing it's all caused by baby being lower and probably resting on or against my bladder, therefore squashing it.

sounds like little one is just beating up your bladder--which means they are going lower!!!!!! Glad your m/w ran a urine test on you just in case though!
