I have a 4yr old girl, Camdyn, at work that asks alot of questions. And I try to answer them honestly, but with reasons she will understand. How else will she ever learn anything?
Today, she came up to me and asked about the baby.
Camdyn: "Ms. Morgan how do you really know there's a baby in your tummy? Because my grandpa has a big belly too and he eats lots of food. I think he's just fat."
Me: "There really is a baby in there. I can feel him moving and playing."
C: "Will you bring the baby in for me to meet?"
M: "Yes, when he is born, I promise to bring him in."
C: "Good, because I can't wait. Do you think I can teach him some stuff?"
M: "Like what, Camdyn?"
C: "Well, he needs someone to teach him how to play nice wih his friends. And he'll need to learn good manners."
M: "That's a good idea."
C: "Does he talk to you?"
M: "No, not yet."
She put her ear to my belly.
C: "I can hear him. He's crying"
M: "Why do you think he's crying? Do you think he's sad?"
C: "Well you would be sad too if you were all alone."

That's one of the reasons I even go to work.
