I met with my new boss today. I'm going to be working at a spice company in the warehouse/receiving & shipping. I'm making $9/hr, it's full time, and I get to bring Leo to work with me. The hard part is that it is two and a half hours away from home, so we will be staying with my best friend and her family during the week and coming home on the weekends. Our plan is to do it this way until we pay off the car and student loans (if we do it right, about 2 years). After that we will look for a house and we will live together again full time. My job starts this Wednesday, so starting tomorrow night Leo and I will be away from DH for my work time.

Congrats on the new job! I cna't imagine how difficult it must be to be apart but I hope all goes well and you get your loans paid off quickly so that your family can be together again.
