Well, I'm just hoping it'll continue to be okay. I don't think we got the 60 mph winds in my town, as we never did lose power, and I didn't hear anything flying around (just heard the wind blowing). It is incredibly sticky & humid, though! I was really worried about my parents, but when I checked the news website, it seems my hometown isn't having too much wind right now...so hopefully everyone I know there is safe b'c they did open an emergency shelter, and they were supposed to get it pretty bad based on where they are located. The only reason I don't know anything is because I never did talk to them except for one phone call my mom made to me yesterday after she left here. Like us, they have digittal phone service, and ours wasn't working last night. I didn't want to waste the juice on their cell phones because I figured if things were really bad they might need them, and parts of their town were without power.
I was also a tad bit worried about me b'c I had been having more of the painful cx than usual (yesterday was crazy busy for about 13 hrs. for me) and I did not want to venture out to L & D in this weather. I was finally able to lie down after I got Abs off to bed, and that plus drinking extra h20 finally made them go away. So yay for that.
