Just wondering what you have heard? Taking my bath with my novel is my fav way to relax in the evenings. I've already gone 3 days without one, and I'm seriously craving one!
Hehe, I just realized that that last sentence sounds funny... I do take showers, it's not like I'm not bathing anymore, lol.

Im interested to see what others say about this, I mean I dont take baths I havent for probably over 10 years (im a shower girl) but I would like to hear if this is true!?!?

Yeah, I've heard it from a couple people but I'm not sure they were the most reliable. I kind of thought it was a load of ...

The only thing I've ever heard was about not taking baths when your pregnant because of what Ashley said. I haven't heard about not taking baths when TTC either. I mean, I know that it's bad for guys to take hot baths or get in the hot tub because heat can lower their sperm count, but I don't think it affects women. I'm interested in seeing if anyone else has heard this too.

I have read its ok while TTC and before you are preggo to take baths or sit in a jacuzzi. But once you're preggo you can still take baths, just not hotter than your body temp. And jacuzzis are off limits. During TTC DH shouldn't sit in a jacuzzi EVER cuz it'll cook his swimmers that need to remain body temp And they are outside the body so he'll want to avoid baths too, and tight underwear. Very important when TTC

We only have a bath in our house - it didn't play havoc with our TTC!

I take a bath almost every night - light my candles, pour my essential oil, and soak in the tub with a good book.
I can't imagine it will affect your TTC and even after you are pregnant, your body does an AMAZING job of telling you when you are too warm and should get out, well before it will affect baby. For a long time it was thought that dirty bathwater would enter the vagina and could cause an infection, but we now know this to be false - still water will not enter the vaginal opening, it would need to be forced and obviously that isn't going to happen in the tub!

I take a bath every day. sometimes twice. I don't know how I would function! I am trying to get into the habit of not having them as hot.

Can't think of why TTC women should avoid baths...heck I took 1-2 a day! LOL And for pregnant women you can take a hot bath not hotter then 102 (NOT a hot tub though because it recycles water to keep it hot, a tub you start hot but then is cools while your in it---so it can't get your core body temp to 102-which is the dangerous temp). So IF i still had a tub I would still be taking my baths---(should be getting a tub room this week!!!) Oh and men and hot tubs/bath should be avoid when the sperm is being made---so 3 months earlier then your O date. Since it does effect the sperm that are being made and that sperm takes 3 months before its let loose. So if your TTC I would say keep your man out of that stuff until preggers if you think its a concern
Troy stopped all hot baths/hot tubs 3 months prior to us TTC.
