CORRECT....well 80% per the tech - but from what I saw the private parts looked really different from my son's ultrasound private parts....it was extremely flat down there and she got some good open leg shots...she said she hates to tell people 100% but she just didn't see anything down there....I'm pretty convinced. My husband is really excited....I'll have to deal with my little guy later today and convince him that a sister is really cool! We'll be getting another ultrasound in 4 weeks and the tech said each time it should become more clear....don't paint the nursery just yet but she was pretty sure!

I didn't get any pics of the girlie parts - sorry ladies. I'll try to scan the profile pics I got soon. Another bad thing they saw was that part of my placenta is covering my cervix - just a bit and they are hopeful that as the uterus expands the placenta will get pulled back up and in the right place. I'm really afraid I don't want to have to have a c-section...I want another vaginal birth. I just hope that it moves. I'm not allowed to do anything strenuous or have intercourse - which stinks b/c we're going on our babymoon to Las Vegas in two weeks....oh well!

So that's it - yeah for girl....I think I'm going to be okay with it.
So we're naming her Nora....what do you all think of the middle name Mae with it - they she'd be named after my grandma and DH's Grandma...Eleanor and Annie Mae....we're big into family names!

LOL That is too funny! If this one is a girl, her name will be Eleanor Grace after my DH's Great grandma! We'll call her Nora as well! I wanted to call her Ella but Ella and Emma are way too close - and Emma's dad has a dog named Ella so I said she couldn't have a sister and a dog named Ella! Funny that your name is the same as mine! But I do like Eleanor Mae!

Oh cute - its a super cute name....however, I don't think we're going to make her legal name Eleanor - just Nora.....

You could always call her Ellie - instead of Ella - then its close to what you wanted to use....but Nora is super cute.

So you all like Nora Mae.....I thought Nora and Harrison go good together - two classic names....and the ladies at the baby names board thought so too!

Yay!!!!! Jack has another girlfriend! (I am trying out names here)

I can't wait to see the pics. I really like Nora Mae--sounds like an artist's name. I hope your placenta does move so that you don't have to worry. I am jealous you are having a babymoon! That sounds like fun

I like Nora. We would have used Eleanor if Oliver was a girl. Btw, I guessed correctly!

OH girls - you're being honest with me right - you really like the name!?

Michelle - I love the name Jack - its very classic as well and all the Jack's I know are cute little buggers! And I'm glad to provide Jack with another "lady friend"!

I can't wait for the next u/s to see if our girl parts still look like girl parts!

The U/S tech we see says there's two ways to tell.. If it's looks like a Cheese Burger it's a girl and if it looks like a hot dog, it's a boy.. lol Take a closer look at the picture and tell us if it looks like a cheese burger.. hehe lol

Congrats on having a girl.. Girls are fun, you can dress them up like dolls,etc..

edit: I also love the name you picked out.. vary beautiful!
