At my job, I deal with adults all day long, Im not supposed to deal with kids, there are other girls for that!! Yesterday, I saw 6 kids in the morning and it was making me cranky!! I was already in a bad mood, and other peoples kids can be so hard to deal with!! I was standing by my desk and a co worker came up to me and asked how I was doing and I said" oh fine, Im cleaning kids teeth all day, and I don't want to be" She looked at me and said "why, just because you can"t have your own kids it makes you hate other peoples"?? ***!!! I almost hit her!!

WOW YOU DIDn'T hit her! Well a big congrats on that! LOL

I have plenty of friends with kids who don't like some other kids. Some kids are just brats (thank heavens not most of them or i'm sure the pregnancy rate would drop lol)! I don't know if once you have kids that you have to love ALL kids. Heck I remember my mom telling me "I love you a ton, but I don't like you much right now" Plus HELLO you work at a dentist office---not really prime location for kids to be in their best behavior! My DH is an adult and turns into a brat at the dentist office STILL!

I do like most kids I see, don't get me wrong!! It's just very hard and energy draining to deal with it all day!! The parents are as hard to deal with as the kids!!!!
Me "you must brush suzies teeth even if she fights you"
Parent "well if she cries I don't brush her teeth, so they rarely get done"
Me(in my head of course) FINE lets your kids teeth fall out!!

Adults are much easier to deal with!! Atleast the scared ones are quite!!!

Wow, I really admire your self control Morgan! Can't say I wouldn't have decked the broad! She's got a lot of freaking nerve! Other peoples kids can be very hard to deal with. There's a lot of really bratty and rude kids these days. My niece is one of them and she can be very hard to take even in small doses.

My goodness! I agree that it's not always the kids themselves, just the added energy they drain from you! I can't believe she said that to you, though! I think I'd burst into tears before hitting her, unfortunately!

Wow I'm lurking in here from WTTC, Kudos to you because she wouldve been sitting in the reconstructive dental surgery chair after I was done with her. Especially if you were already in a bad mood! You deserve the Anger Management of the Year Award!
