Well folks, I am now 5 months pregnant. Pretty crazy, huh? (don't mind my ticker, it lost a day around new years).
Things with me are . . . umm, well they are okay. I mean they are GREAT, but I have my days.
Things that are not so great:
I am super emotional. Today I had a meltdown at work It was pretty bad and I had to leave and cry my head off for 30 minutes or so. And the other day out of the blue, I started crying like someone died. I am not unhappy, but the crying spells still happen. I blame the baby.
Things that are wicked awesome:
Yesterday, for perhaps the first time ever, I felt the baby move and it didn't freak me out. Usually, I jump or roll over feeling creeped out (it is kinda creepy at first imo), but I think I have moved on to visualizing our little boy in there and now his movements give me warm fuzzies And he kicks and moves around a lot
Things with the house are good and we are closing next Wed! Then it is demolition time, muhahahaha! Things aren't that bad, but let me say that picking out a new kitchen from IKEA, while overwhelming at first, is actually a lot of fun! I will post lots of picks since we are doing it ourselves and hey, that could lead to some pretty humorous photos.
I am feeling less overwhelmed. Thanks for all the responses to that post of mine too. My biggest problem ironically enough, is remembering to make a list and then remembering what to put on it. My brain just does not work like it used to.
The baby is healthy, which is just wonderful.
We have narrowed down the names to Jack or Kingston
Anyways, that's what has been going on with me. I will post a belly pic later—I have grown a lot I think
************************************************** *****
I had a rough couple of days (abdomen and back pain on Friday that made me sick and sent me home early), but here are the 20 week belly pics I promised. I can now feel him kick me well above my belly button.

I cannot believe you are 20 weeks pregnant. It seems like just the other day that we were both lamenting over our diagnoses, and the fact that we were suddenly the infertiles......glad things are going well!

Yeah, all the baby gaga tickers went haywire on Jan. 1st. I had to change the due date on mine to get it to read properly.
Sounds like overall things are going really well. Sometimes I feel totally emotional too, and I think it is only the fact that I cannot cry in front of my kids that holds me together sometimes. (They were very bratty today & I had some other frustrating things happening so I know the feeling of emotionally overwhelmed.)

I'm glad things are starting to get better for you! Don't worry about the crying spells, I still get them--I blame nursing hormones.

I love the name Kingston! I'm so glad you are doing well. The time is just flying it seems. We have an Ikea kitchen (but a simple one... you can slam the drawers if you wish, haha)- it was good fun getting it all put together.

If you are 20 weeks already that means I"m 17 weeks - crazyness! I love the name Jack since we are sharing our opinions! But both names are cute - they seem to come from totally different styles so I am curious why you are drawn to each of them! I'm sorry that you are sad and crying....some women get big time blues in pregnancy - there was a story about it on Deliver Me on Discover health. But you said you are happy overall so that is good. I cannot wait to see pictures of your house as you work to make it your own - how exciting. We're getting close to having Harrison's new big boy room done so I'll post pics of that when we're done - he's so excited! He picked out orange and yellow paint for the walls so we'll see how that goes!!! The time goes so fast Michelle - enjoy that little one kicking around in there - pretty soon when you all him "baby" he'll tell you he's not a baby he's a big boy - that's what Harrison did to me the other day - just about broke my heart!

You seem to progress in your pregnancy faster than anyone else! I am always shocked at how far along you are......Jack and Kingston sound like two awesome names......sounds like you are doing great......crying spells are just part of pregnancy, I think....I have them all the time myself.
