I'm embarrassed to say that I'm having a problem with eating junk

Now, I do manage to eat great things for my 3 main meals, but my snacks are horrible choices. Today alone (on top of my breakfast and lunch) I've had 2 donuts and a root beer float. And it's only 1:30pm

Yesterday it was 3 peeps, doritos, and 2 cherry poptarts.

My cravings for sweets is just terrible. I've tried drinking flavored waters, chewing gum, and doubling up on fruits that I love. If you eat balanced meals otherwise, is it very harmful to baby if I eat bad snacks? I went for a checkup two days ago and she said baby is doing fine and my weight is good. But I'm actually too embarrassed to ask my OB. I've gained 6 pounds in the last 3 weeks.

I think in moderation its fine. I, when I was pregnant with Ian, couldnt stop eating! I was constantly hungry, and gained almsot 90lbs with him

I say if youve already had a snack, maybe go out and take a walk, or drink something? But also remember, that with being pregnant, make sure your not starving yourself either! Take this time to splurge a bit, but not too much

When I was pregnant I was bad with eating sweets. I'm always bad at eating sweets! I ate healthy but had to have something like ice-cream, cookies, or chocolate each day. Don't worry to much about it.

Wow! I'm impressed! I've been having cravings too--like last night (oh I'm so ashamed!) I ate cookies that my DH had thrown in the trash cause he said they tasted like plastic. I needed them right away!

So I have no hints for you--looks like you've been trying everything I thought of. Good luck to you!

I say if your getting in your healthy stuff for the day then why not! IF/WHEN I actually eat my healthy stuff for the day I treat myself to a bad snack. But then as I type this I am finishing off a big bag of skittles for dinner What was my dad's favorite saying...."Do as I say, not as I do"
