So after waiting for what seems like forever, its finally time for us to TTC (kind of)!
DH still lives away, which makes it hard. But he's moving here in June. We've decided even though odds are not on our side until then, we're going to try anyway. We're seeing eachother at least 2 days every month until June...but according to FF it is never during a fertile time...or even close. It seems like every time he's planned a trip here it's during AF, right before, or right after But that's ok. My cycles are a bit wonky for now, so things could change. Which brings me to the next topic...
So I went off BCP in October. Prior to this last BCP stint, I temped for about 3 months, everything seemed fine (last year around this time). I ovulated, had 26-27 day cycles, 13-14 day LP. This time my first cycle seemed normalish, 28 days long (i wasnt charting though), then I was put under a HUGE amount of stress for the couple months until mid Dec and everything went crazy. The next cycle was 37 days, the next 47....then the major stressor ended. This past cycle was my first since off BCP this time I've charted. It was 25 days long with a barly 11 day LP. I am thinking my body is still adjusting back to normal from the stress/BCP. But I thought I'd try B6 anyhow, doesnt hurt, right? Has anyone tried it? Did it change anything? How much did you take?

Hooray for ttc! I'm afraid I'm no help with your question, though. I don't think B6 could hurt, but I have heard it can delay O. Then again, I thought anything above 10 is considered a good amount of time for ttc, so do you really need it, either way?

Yay for joining us!!!
I can't answer your question about B6. I thought about using it because my LP was only seven days when I got off BCP, but I thought I'd give my body a chance first. These past two months it has been 11 days. I'd like it to get a day or two longer, but we'll see what happens.

Wooohooo Congrats GRAD!!!! I didn't try the B6 but I hear good and bad things about it. I personally would give your body a month or two more without all the stress and see what it does (well I may give it one more month LOL I'm not the most patient person LOL)
How someone who used it can give you their opinion on it. Either Way---GOOD LUCK!!!

a 10 or 11 day LP is fine. Mine started around 9 days when I stopped BCP, and gradually increased. After a few 9day LPs I took 50mg B6 daily, it took a couple of cycles to kick in but it did help. However I do say... 10 day LP is fine! Try not to get hung up on it too much. YEY for TTC!!!

Welcome to TTc! Even though you two are apart for a few months, it's always good to practice, right?!

Yay Erin! My bet is you will be pregnant much earlier than you expect to be
I think you LP is fine, especially since 11 days is still okay. I bet it will lengthen out some more if you give it a little time. I think Lauren (Lash) knows quite a bit about B6 and has used it herself, if you can find her to ask her about it.

I am no expert, but I agree that your LP may lengthen on its own. You might want to wait a couple more cycles to see what your body does. I haven't used B6, so I'm not really sure myself.
And yay on getting to TTC, Erin! I can't wait to see you around here more often...this is so exciting!

OMG OMG OMG OMG ERIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so freaking excited for you! I'd give it a few more cycles before stressing about B6. I had two cycles in a row with 4 day LP's, now this one is so far at 6(I think, lol), and no spotting. Give your body a few more months to adjust. If it hasn't lengthened to a consistent minimum of 11 days by June, then I'd try the B6.

I for some reason didn't catch that your LP was 10-11 days---thats still normal, so I wouldn't mess with it by taking B6. I had 10-11 day LP also!!!!
