Heading into ER.

Just a quick post before I leave. Mom is coming home from work to get me to take me to the hospital. Woke up this morning with a lot of pain and pressure. When I went to the bathroom, I wiped and felt something "goopy". Looked at the TP and it was a greenish weird looking almost hard discharge. After I saw that, the pressure started getting worse. I also have a slight (99.9) fever, nausea/vomiting and dizziness. Dr's office is closed today so I am going to the ER instead just in case- mom freaked out a bit when I called her and said I *have* to go to just get checked.

I hope it's just a little case of the flu, but it's good you're getting checked out. Update us as soon as you can. Hope you feel better asap.

Just got home. That hospital is efficient and the nurses are SO nice! My nurse's name was actually Alice, which I thought was pretty cool!

I walked into the emergency dpt. and signed in. As soon as the triage nurse realized I was pregnant, they sent down a wheelchair to take me to the second floor. I got a room in L&D in about five minutes from entering the hospital. It took what felt like FOREVER to find her heartbeat, which really scared me at first, but we finally found her. They had me on the fetal monitor thingy the entire time to make sure there were no contractions or distress. They actually checked me internally, which I wasn't sure if they would do, and everything looked normal. The on-call doc basically thinks I was just having BHs or bad round ligament pain, but had no answers for the weird discharge. He told me to make a sooner appt. with my regular OB to check again if I had anymore discharge like that. Also found out that I have some minor edema in both legs and feet, so we have to watch that. The urinalysis showed no infections.
