Well, after yesterday's highly optimistic (for me) post, a little bit later in the day I went to pee and found a light tan color on my TP. This morning, it is a little darker brown. It's not a lot, not enough to get on underwear or panty liner, but it's been on the TP pretty consistently now since yesterday.

Now I'm just back to the thoughts of miscarriage. I know if it's a healthy bean, a little spotting won't stop it from developing. I also know if it's not healthy, it's doomed to fail and nothing I do or say or think can stop it. So instead of positive, my thoughts are now just apathetic... just waiting to see which way the pregnancy will go, because I'm not steering it, I'm just along for the ride.

Update: The spotting got heavier through the day, enough to get on the pantyliner. At one point around 2 p.m. I had mucousy pink and a couple dots of red on the TP. Since then, it's been brown again. No cramps, actually I've been having a lot less "stretchy" feelings in the uterus over the past day or so - which is comforting, but not. I don't know, girls. I am not feeling so hopeful right now.

Oh sweetie! Light pink & brown spotting is fine and normal. I spotted for about 3 weeks after AF was due. It's time to do something about it if it's red and/or you have bad cramps.

Cramps are ok too but not if they are strong or accompanied by red blood.

(((((((((((((((huggles))))))))))))))))

p.s. just to explain, when the wee eggie burrows into your lining, it causes a slight bleeding, what you are seeing is that blood, it's older hence it's brown.

It sounds like it's just normal bleeding, but I understand why you're worried. I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

I know its scary believe me!! I started spotting on the 23rd, but yesterday I had an us and my baby bean is happy as can be in my uterus!! Its prolly just the placenta getting all nice and cozy into your uterine wall. Try not to worry. Just rest up, with your feet up, down lots of water, and watch your activity. Thats what I was told.

Brown is okay! I had pink and brown spotting at first, and I think it was just implantation bleeding making its way out.
Will you have an early u/s in a week or two?

Thinking of you Kyle It's probably just normal spotting. I had it happen twice. Once after sex, and once just randomly.

*HUGS* Kyle! I'm sure it's just normal bleeding but I know how upsetting it is. I spotted red/pink/brown with Lochy until about 8 weeks. Sometimes it was just on the TP but other times I needed a liner. It got redder the more I did so relax as much as possible! I also had a bleeding episode with Liam when I was almost 20 weeks--again it was red/pink/brown and I definitely needed a liner with that. But as you can see both boys are perfectly fine and healthy. The worry was always there though, I checked the TP EVERY TIME I went to the bathroom until I delivered with both of them.

When I had my miscarriage I had no warning spotting, it went right into heavy bleeding, clots, and tissue.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that you little one is burrowing in nice and deep.

I'm sorry Kyle and I hope that it's just implantation bleeding. I know how worrying it is and how hard it is to get your hopes up. Hopefully you can get an u/s soon? Till then we will all be praying for a little sticky bean.

Hugs, Kyle. I know it's hard & I'm sure even harder when you've had a loss before. I had a lot of spotting/bleeding with this pregnancy and was constantly worrying. It's hard not to worry, so I'm not going to tell you not to. But I will keep sending positive thoughts your way, sweetie.

Same thing here! With both my pregnancies I've had pink/brown spotting but when I had my m/c it was RED right away, and the clots started not long after (sorry if TMI).

Mine was bright red and clotty. Brown and light are good things! I hope it stops soon though. I'm sure you're very worried.

Spotting sucks. Its scary but its not a sign of bad things. red blood AND cramping is a sign of possible bad things, your still under 8-10 weeks when some spotting is normal. And I think like 20-30% of HEALTHY pregnancies GET some spotting! So TRY to not freak out to much.
Plus you feel cruddy!---Good sign!!!!!

All your words have comforted me, you girls don't know how much. It's especially helpful to hear all the successful pregnancies that have been through this. I updated at the top. I am just not sure which way this is going and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. I'm just trying to take it easy and keep my mind off of it.

I hope this will soon be a distant memory soon. One you will look back on remembering how it all turned out to be nothing and your baby will be healthy kicking you.
