I feel really odd I've just washed & dried my hair - nothing unusual there, it's a daily occurrance. But I feel really shaky now, and my left hip & lower back hurt, but not "crampy" like AF?
Also baby is REALLY hurting when it moves its head. The pain is quite low down, kinda shoots through me. Not sure if baby is near a nerve, I get infrequent pain on the inside left thigh like I've almost pulled a muscle but it pops back in right before. And I'm getting wave-like pains similar to bowel pain.
Can anyone relate to this? Is something happening? I prob sound like a complete freak
I had planned to eat lunch whilst I sit & rest for 10 mins, and then go for a walk, but I'm a bit wary now? Any thoughts?

Well the cramp situation, I have no advice
But every now and then I get super shaky, just sitting and eating helps.

my braxtons have increased but aren't sore. I really want to go out for a walk but I'm a bit scared to! I don't need to empty my bowels - did that this morning.

Sounds like baby is moving down and your hips are splitting out a touch---this allows the pelvis to open up more for baby to get through (normal thanks to the hormone called relaxin). Unfortunately the can cause nerve pain with some. Does any position help it? (like getting on all fours and arching your back or on your knees and laying on your ball?) Warm shower/bath should help. Try having DH stand behind your and squeeze your hips in, or having him push on your butt bone--some times some counter pressure will help. Some women walking helps the pain some makes it worse (but walking does help the labor go faster).
But looks like jelly bean is starting to get ready to meet you!

My OB told me that if I have 4 or more BH in an hr that I could be in labor and to call her. And she said they don't have to hurt. That's what I've been told.

Don't be scared to go on a walk---walking is GOOD. If your uncomfortable just walk closer to home.

The shaky feeling happens to me pregnant or not. It's usually just because I'm dehydrated and/or need to eat. I think the heat from the hair dryer exacerbates it.
My BH were always the same as yours Fiona. If I called my OB/midwife every time I had 4 or more an hour I'd be calling all the time from about 24 weeks on! Good news is that even though BH started early and were frequent during both pregnancies--both labors were fairly quick!
I hope all the walking gets things moving for you!

Well I'm back. The pain waves are quite intense when I get them but I'm 99% sure it's bowel related. It's midway up my belly. I've no idea. If they continue for a couple of hours I'll phone the midwife, but I doubt anything is happening though

I had the shakes really bad during labour. I'd never had them before so hopefully that's something.
Good luck. I hope our baby is ready!!

Don't give up hope, Fifi. I think your body is getting ready...it just may take a bit longer since it's your first baby. I started feeling crampy and yucky about 4.5 hours before I actually went into labor.

It's so crazy to me that you could be having a baby like ANY time now. Like how do you just go about your daily life? I wouldn't even be able to make plans for the superbowl, because for all I know I'd be giving birth right then! I just think it's so crazy when it could literally happen any time now! You must be so anxious fifi!

back to feeling pretty normal again. Nothing to report lol!
I actually feel quite calm. I thought things may have started earlier with all this, but I'm doubting it now, I'm back to normal. Baby deffo has less space to move and the feet are at the top of my bump its feet have always been on my left side. Not sure what's going on there!
