Question About Taking Antibiotics

Hey Ladies, quick question for you all: I realize only time will really tell....BUT, I was put on antibiotics last Wednesday and my pharmasist told me to continue to take my bcp since it will still work, just the percentage of effective will be reduced. Well Saturday DH and I DTD without any other protection (we don't have any condoms because we just never use them) and it was the end of my 3rd week on the pill. What do you think my odds are of getting pregnant? I am pretty sure they are VERY slim since it was towards the end of my pills (they until tomorrow night for me), but I can always hope, hehe.

I'm not sure where my friend was in her pill pack.. but my friend got pregnant twice while on BCPs and antibiotics..

You should continue BCP while on antibiotics but WAY REDUCED you are for coverage! I would say your chances are very very slim--because of the timing in your cycle that they were reduced doesn't fall in the "stereotypical" fertility time in your cycle. Now if you would have done that your second week---well then I would put you at a higher risk.
