I got a house keeper

I have been looking for a house keeper for about a year now, I found one in the paper about 3 weeks ago! So she came to my house to look around and give me a price. I loved her, she was sweet and kind old grandma and loved Landen and Landen loved her and just I hit the house keeper Jackpot! So she gives me a price and it was a great deal so I said yes, and she said she would come on Saturday to clean! Well on Saturday when she came she brought another lady with her. She asked if it would be alright if she cleaned my house instead, I didn't see a big problem so I was like ok. Well first this new lady seemed really nice, but then she started talking. She told me a bit TMI about her family, she told me detail on how her SIL committed suicide

death is something I do not feel comfortable talking about with some one I just met. But I got over it she is an older lady whatever. Well then she basically called me lazy because I'm a SAHM and need someone to come clean my house.... ummm its like do you want my money or not! And she only see's me once a week and since I am at home that one day she acts as if i'm some lonely loser how never gets out of the house and has no friends. She asked me when was the last time you left the house, and I told her the day before IT WAS THE TRUTH and she gave me a poor you look and said, well I don't think you did

. And she hates my eco friendly cleaning products she said these do not clean right and she refused to use my mop she had to bring her own winch is a piece of crap ! And she tells me dumb things! Other then that she is a sweet old lady. I don't want to fire her I NEED the help and she is the only person I can find. But I can not stand her!

I would call the women you hired and tell her that in the future you would prefer that she cleaned your home as you didn't really 'click' with the other woman. Just leave it at that. That woman should be THANKFUL that you're hiring a cleaning lady because that means SHE HAS A JOB. So what if you're a SAHM? It's working to her advantage! I wouldn't want someone in my home that I am paying to be judging me like that. Just call the woman you hired and let her know you would love for HER to clean your home, but if that isn't possible you will look for someone else.

Those pics of you two are way cute... and puh-lease about this muffin top nonsense! You look fab! Landen is so cute with his little chunky legs!

I agree with Shannon. I would not keep this lady. Eventually it will get to you. It's like some kind of emotional abuse I see building with her.

I think I would fire that cleaning lady for not wanting to use your eco-friendly products! She needs to keep her mouth closed and clean. Errr!

By the way... You do not have a muffin top!! You should see what mine belly looks like with all my stretch marks that will NEVER go away! ugh..

That cleaning lady had some nerve! I can't believe she said those things to you, how dare she call you a liar like that! You have more patience than me, I think I would have kicked her out right there.

Boo mean cleaning lady....you should set it straight with the lady you liked. I love my cleaning lady - she brings treats for DS when she comes so he loves her too

And I totally agree with Shannon, you first lady did a bait and switch probably because the other lady is bad to everyone and thats the only way she could get a job. I would call your original back and tell her no more on the new lady!
THE NERVE OF THAT LADY---WOW! Landen doesn't need to here him mom get emotionally abused!

wow, I'd call the woman you originally hired and insist on her coming to clean from now on. Heck, I'm a SAHW with no kids and I have a cleaning lady, mine doesn't care, she's just greatful to have the job.

I would phone up the original lady and ask WHY she brought a replacement and explain that you aren't happy with her... maybe the original lady has other "staff" ?

You have nothing to lose, and why should you put up with her nonesense in YOUR home! Just be honest with the lady on the phone.

I know I'm going to have to call the other lady. She came today and one of the first things she asked was if I got out of the house and when I said yes, she just kinda laughed. I asked her what was so funny and she said if I got out of the house then why is my house so messy. Next week I am going to take a before an after pic! My house does not get that bad. I just feel bad firing her because I know she really needs the job, but at the same time I hired her to help relive some stress not create more! This is just a sucky situation!!! I am going to see if next time if I keep myself busy if she will leave me alone, and I'm going to have my friend Angela over lol!! Thanks for all the advice!!! If that doesn't work I will call the other lady as soon as she leaves!

Ang, why should you have to dread her coming? YOU are paying her salary! You're not paying her to tell you off or to laugh at you. I can't believe she is so rude. It doesn't matter if your house is tidy or like a bomb has hit - you're paying her to clean it, and that's what she should do, not complain about it being messy. Jeez, I'd love to know what she'd think of my house

I'm sorry shes being such a PITA

But don't put up with it too long. Whether she needs the job or not isn't your concern. Landen is and being happy is. Sod her!

I agree with the other ladies.. you dont need to have someone like that! While yes, she may need the job, but she should have thought about that before she opened her mouth and started being so rude! It's really her own fault! Good luck!
