Mine is really soft, too! It sticks out about 1/2 inch and hurts when you push on it! lol

You probably have an umbilical hernia. They're common in pregnancy.

babies get umbilical hernia's alot too - my son had one from the time he was about 6 months to 12 months....it was funny - you could push his big belly button bump all the way into his tummy - docs say its no big deal...unless it doesn't go away on its own eventually...my sons did!

mine didn't pop out whilst preggy, but I LOVE the feeling of the inside of it, mine kinda stretched flat with the soft we pokey bit in the centre. It's gona back in now!

ouch........my dh's bellybutton is already huge, i guess I will get to catch up to him when i eventually get preggie! u learn something new every day!
