I know we have a couple moms atleast that do baby wearing.

I got a moby wrap at my baby shower and I tried it out this morning and tying it was alright but when I put Dustin in I couldn't get him in... like far enough down. Did I tie it too tight maybe? I think I must have.

Is there any tricks or tips you can give me so I can get him in nicely?

Have someone help you out, and put him in before you actually tie the knot the first time or two. Once you have him in and it fitting right, take him out and see how loose it is and it will help you in the future so you can know how tight to pull it or not. You can also loosen the knot once he is in there and gnetly pull on the straps to get it to loosen a bit so it fits better. I used to use it on my friends kids all the time so I practiced plenty. Once you use it a few times you get used to it and its much easier and quicker to do.

Kay thanks! I'm going to have to try that!

I was doing the hold where you stick baby in the fold on the one side and that seems SO awkward. I saw a youtube video where you keep baby in the middle of your chest and cross both side over his bum and then pull the waist panel up, that looks MUCH more comfier to me. I'll have to try that one!

That position is my favorite and I think it's the comfiest. It's great because when they are little you can face them in towards you for maximum support and you can breastfeed. When they are older, you use the same wrap but face them out and they love to watch everything going on around them.
