Do you have plans for Valentine's Day?
Ed and I will be in Chicago this upcoming weekend Normally, I don't do much for him on Valentine's. I just want to bake him his favorite cookies. But with this week being so crazy busy for us, I have little time to make a suprise for him without him seeing it! Any other simple ideas? Oh he's definitely not a candy man. How easy would THAT be, right? lol

We don't usually do anything special for Valentine's. Maybe we'll go out to lunch or dinner. Not sure.

I'm usually not into Valentine's day much. My mom will be in town with her BF this year and the four of us are going to go out for dinner but that's pretty much it. Maybe I'll steal your idea and bake him cookies!

I loveeeeeeeeeee Valentine's Day! I decorated the house over the weekend with all sorts of Valentine-y stuff, reusing some of our wedding stuff because it was all pink and heart themed. I got these silicone pancake molds to just pour the batter into, a big heart cake and "Valentines Cake Mix" with funfetti and pink frosting. Including a pink/hearts apron that maybe I'll wear exclusively while I make his breakfast at the table with the V-day table cloth on heart shaped plates.
So, I've got the morning/early afternoon picked out, and he is taking care of the evening. It is also my sister's 1st anniversary, and our original wedding date was 2/13. I'm planning to make pretty paper valentines with glitter and all of that for all the little kiddies that bless my life, and buy my mom a small bouquet of flowers from the grocery store.
It is a sort of sad day for my Dad because his father died on Valentine's Day of '91, but as a family we decided that my sister's wedding would take the place of the unhappiness.
I loveeeeeeeeeee sappy days, and since my step-sister is an engineer for Hallmark, I like doing my job to support her company

We wont be together.
But we usually dont do anything big, no gift exchanging. I think I will send him a hand-made card. Although...I'll see him 5 days after V-day.

Well since BJs are like flowers to men I will be doing that! LOL We are going to try to take a vacation to manila for the weekend (would love suggestions of what do there!), it depends on his work schedule. But I doubt we will do much. I get flowers every other week normally and the last batch is still looking good so I don't think I will get more.

Being 7.5months pregnant, not much we can do, and also having Seamus it really limits things.
We usually dont do V-day but sense we will have money from taxes we will probably go to dinner.
? I'm 7.5months pregnant ) so wouldn't you be too? (7mo starts at 28weeks at least to my OB)

Valentine's day is my sister's birthday, so it's always been all about her. I don't even think of it as a romantic holiday, lol. We're going out to dinner, and then I'm taking her out for a drink. Elsa is my valentine this year.
