I would have to see how much pasta that is to judge but it sounds like an American Pizza place! I am shocked every time I go home at what we think is a normal serving size in the USA.
And when I started traveling I ordered 2-3 meals because I thought they were to small. Now I realize that its an American thing.

I can make my own homemade lasagna, and I don't know how much it weighs, but it costs about $12 and serves 12 (9 x 13 pan). So Pizza hut's pasta is a money waster for me!! Plus, you can buy 1 lb dry pasta for $1.50, plus one jar of sauce for $2, add in some ground meat and cheese and it'll taste better and cost less and feed more. Win win (of course you still have to make it, but it's still less time than delivery) etc, etc.

i was just going to say, we eat pasta everyday and eat 1/2 lb between the three of us (my DD can put away her share of pasta!!) i mean if a box of mac and cheese is for a family of four (now that I don't understand, cause we need 2 boxes of that with some left overs) how do you compare that to 3 lbs of pasta??????
