I just ordered a stroller online this morning. I'm soooo excited to get it. It's a Bumbleride Queen B. I got it on sale from BRU for $300 with free S&H. It retails for around $430. It's huge and heavy (31 lbs) but I think it's just what I have been looking for. I wanted something that would work well outside because that it where I will use it most. It's a pram, unqiue looking, you can buy a toddler seat so that it can be used for two children, baby can face me or the world, it's adjustable, there is a big basket, the tires are huge for great shock absorption, and I love the ruby color.
Here is the color I got:

Here is a video about it:

I will let you all know how I like it. I will most likely get a light weight stroller if I find I need one in the future.

I like it Resi! If we had a bigger car and house I'd have got something very similar.

That is very nice! It is a good point that you need something better then a lightweight if you take lots of walks outside. Do you have a lightweight one for shopping too?

Not yet. Right now I use my snap and go with the infant carseat. I will use that until he outgrows the carseat. Then I will get a lightweight if I feel I need it.

I love it!!! I'm anxious to hear how you both like it! If I were in the market for a stroller I would definitely be purchasing that one! Love the red too!
I never found the need for a light weight stroller. We always just lug out our double with no problems. Plus I hate umbrella strollers so I'd never get one of those.

I literally spent hours the other day trying to understand how I would need an infant car seat, infant stroller to snap the carseat in, convertable car seat, lightweight stroller for when they are no longer in their infant seat, and a jogger. That is a lot of stuff! My brain is just SLOW these days and all of the needs and wants for the baby pile up. I know I could get away with less, I am just not sure what to choose. Maybe I will do like you are and buy things in stages.

Yeah.. I drove/drive my self nuts with what I need, want, or don't need. I think buying in stages is the best bet unless you want to add everything to your baby registry. I always read reviews to try to find what is the best brand to go with. I like having the infant carseat with the snap and go because it's so light and easy to use. I don't have to wake him up when he falls asleep in the car. I just put the carseat in the snap and go or put it on the grocery cart. There are a lot of options out there. However, I think the travel systems are a waste of money. I hear that the strollers are cheap and don't hold up. Plus, the carseat isn't used that long. You can get the snap and go strollers on craiglist used for a decent price.

Yes. That is the one I have. I bought mine at BRU on clearance for $30! I'm not sure if I would have bought it if it wasn't on clearance.
