We got our taxes back last week, so we went shopping for new living room furniture today! This is our first time buying new furniture besides our computer desks and bed. Pretty much everything else has been given to us, so this was very exciting for us! We got a sofa and loveseat. They are soooo pretty! We LOVE them! They are sitting in the living room right now, but our old furniture is in there too, so here is what the living room looks like right now. lol

and here is a pic of the set I found on the internet...

I will take better pics once we get everything in order. We will most likely repaint the living room, because our walls are a neutral gray color, and I don't really think it blends well with the new furniture.

We also got a new bedding set...

We got our taxes back, so that's what we spent the money on. We also got a steam cleaner and a new really good knife set. I've been wanting a steam cleaner forever, so I'm really excited about that! Our carpet is horrible right now from the dogs! Anyways. Just wanted to share my excitement! I love getting stuff for our house!

Michelle

We actually got it from a privately owned small furniture store called Furniture Nation, but we saw it first at Ashley Furniture. Just for the couch alone at Ashley was $628, and the love seat was not much less. We got ours for $850 total! We got a really good deal! They even sprayed it with the stain protection, which costs extra too. I am so excited to get it in order! Thankfully, I'm off the next 3 days, so that's what I will be doing!
