So this is going to be way TMI!
I am on CD2.. I've had blood clots in the past, but just now was the worst thing I've ever seen! 2 large clots, each the size of an oreo cookie (sorry I couldnt think of anything else) Dark dark red with some white tissue. Is this normal!? I've never had this before! Normally the clots I have are the size of an M&M!
and I'm in quite a bit of pain.. not just crampy, but in real pain today.. like cant move from my desk without having to bend over!

Hmmmm I'd be inclined to phone my Doctor's practice and ask their advice. It doesn't sound "normal" but then I hardly pass clots, so perhaps it's not so abnormal. But the pain would have me concerned coupled with these 2 clots.

I agree with Fi! I don't think that's normal but I've don't pass many clots either. If it happens again, try to take a pic for your doc to see or maybe you can "collect" it to take.

I've passed large clots a few times before, but they never had white tissue in them. I've heard that passing clots larger than quarter size isn't normal. I think I would call your Dr. and ask. It doesn't sound normal to me. It's always good to keep it if you are concerned so your Dr. can see it if they need to. I hope everything is ok.

nope not something I would put in the normal group.....call your provider, and collect one or more and put it in a ziplock (gross I know but VERY helpful to your provider)

ugh I was hoping you ladies would tell this was normal! I'm at work right now.. and this is the last thing I wanted to deal with.. if it happens again I'll see what I can do to "collect" it.. I dont have any ziplocks here.. and then I'll call the dr..

I was told anything over the size of a quarter or that looked odd was reason to call.

Honestly, although it isnt normal...I'd be surprised if your Dr did anything yet. Since this isnt normal for your cycles, the Dr will probably tell you to see what happens next cycle. If if you continue to pass large lots then they might run some tests.

I'd mention it at your appt. Some things they might test for are uterine polyps and fibroids by doing an ultrasound.

I'd mention it to him then, though you did just finish with a clomid cycle and my AF's were really wacky during the clomid cycles. Much clottier than normal.

I used to pass clots the size of half dollars (Hmm probably oreo sized..) and my doc said it was normal for me, especially since we know i had several uterine fibroid's.
