Every night Oliver is waking up soaked because his diapers are leaking. This started last week. I think the CD covers are getting to small. I have a cloth diaper meet up this weekend and I'm hoping this solves the problem. I bought a pack of Earth's Best disposable diapers to use at night until I get some new covers but he is leaking out of those as well! The are diffently the correct size. I have been getting up at least 1-2 times per night to change him and all of his clothes. Plus, the sheets get wet to and I have to change them! He is leaked out of his AIO's and Pocket Diapers too when I tried them at night and they are one size diapers. Any advice? I hate waking up with him wet because then I have to change everything and he wakes up crying because I'm stripping him down. He must be a heavy wetter. This can happen 1-2 hours after changing him.

I have no solutions, but poor wee boy! It must be frustrating for you having to do this so frequently. Hopefully someone can help!

I can't get away with cloth at night. We have to use disposables. We only have prefolds, hemp doublers, and covers though and no money to invest in anything else. I've heard wool works really well at night, do you have any of those?

Both boys are heavy wetters. I always had to change Lochlann each time he woke up to nurse until he was about a year old. And even though Liam is potty taught he still needs a diaper at night because he's such a heavy wetter and doesn't wake up. Lochlann actually wet through this morning which he hasn't done in a while.

I've noticed the leaking is especially bad if the diapers are too small or too big. I wish I had better advice but I'm kinda stumped myself. I hope you find something that works! I know how frustrating it is to have to change everything in the middle of the night!

Is it an absorbancy issue? Do you think the dipes and inserts need to be stripped maybe? Have you tried stuffing the heck out of the pockets? I really don't have much great advice since I''m not to that stage yet. Hope it resolves soon!

Aden is an EXTREMELY heavy wetter, and I only JUST found a nighttime diaper that will work for us. She used to use a BG stuffed with both inserts, but that stopped working after a while because she peed so much.

Now we use Holden's Landing Bedbugs with thirsties covers (they are made specifiacally to be night diapers). She has a store on hyenacart, they are kind of expensive but if you think about it you only have to buy 2 or 3 depending on how often you wash. We have 4 of them and I got them all on DS on FSOT for less than retail. She also has a yahoo group that you can sign up for and put an order into the database so you don't have to "stalk" them if she doesn't have any currently on her store.

Also I have heard that the Sustainablebabyish bamboo/hemp fleece fitteds are really good for night time so that is another option you might try out. You could probably find those used on DS as well, but their website is www.sloomb.com

And it is probably time for new covers too, but it sounds like you need a diaper with more absorbancy for nighttime.

They seem to be absorbing just fine. I have not added any extra extra stuffing. Just two inserts. Maybe I need to stuff some more.

Thanks! I'm checking out both sites right now. Darnit! If I only had a $100 to blow on some great diapers!

LOL, my loss is your gain girls! Trust me I have been through it all with CDing, lost a lot of money trying stuff out and then reselling, but found great dipes and it's totally worth it! Plus I'm addicted now and can't stop

Resi- I know right now she has a deal for 3 for $75 or something like that, that's a really good price they are usually much more!

Here's a medium on FSOT if you want to try one out, I bought a bunch of stuff from this lady and she was super nice, and her diapers were in great condition. I think the fit range on side snapping diapers is really good, Aden wears the ML and she's 2! But the OBV ones are super stretchy

ETA: If you buy fitteds that are new or almost new and they are hemp or bamboo they need to be washed and dried a couple times in hot water before they reach their full absorbancy
