Somebody turned the volume on the monitor all the way down last night. I know it wasn't me because I NEVER touch the volume. Ian says it wasn't him so either he doesn't remember doing it or it was my mil. Anyway, Lochlann always wakes up between 1 and 2 to come into bed with us and at 5 to nurse--its like clockwork! I woke up at 7:30 this morning and nothing from him only to find out that although the monitor was on I couldn't hear anything! I felt so horrible! I don't know how long he was crying in his crib before he gave up and went back to sleep because I didn't come to him. My poor little man! He didn't want to nurse when I went in and got him when he woke up this morning either. I think he was mad at me. He did nurse up a storm before his nap though so I guess he got over it. I just feel like I could win worst mother of the year right now.

Awww chickie! He went back to sleep so he obviously is and was fine. maybe it did good? Maybe he doesn't need the night nursing?

You're not a bad mommy! He was obviously fine, because he went back to sleep. I know it's hard though, to think he was crying for you and you didn't come. You'll be there tonight though, so it will all be okay.

Aww! Poor Lochlann. Are you sure he didn't make it all night without waking up? All will be better tonight. He is such a cutie. I just love looking at your siggy because both boys are so cute. You need to post pictures of them more often.

Aww i'm sure he was okay!! I agree with the others, he was obviously okay since he just went back to sleep. Don't worry you're a great mommy!!!

He MAY have just slept through the night but he's only ever done that once before and I wasn't home for it. I know its not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but we don't CIO and he's never been left to cry! I just feel bad thinking about him sitting there crying and waiting for me and I never came. I just have to make sure the volume is always up from now on.

And thanks Resi! I was going to post recent pics of them but my camera batteries died so I have to wait til I get new ones.
