A bird flew in our house...

Since we got new furniture, I decided to repaint the walls, so that's what I've been doing all yesterday and today. We are getting rid of our huge entertainment center, so Chris took it apart and was taking it outside, when a bird flew in! It was actually Chris' fault because he opened our storm door(??? like a screen door, but glass), he accidentally hit a bird house we have hanging on the porch, and it scared the bird! So, we spent the next HOUR trying to persuade the bird to go back out the door. During that time, I guess he decided he needed to CRAP! LMAO! It pooed on all 4 living room walls, which I JUST painted!!! Thankfully, the paint had already dried, so it wasn't hard to get off. And at least it didn't get on our brand new furniture! Chris' Granny says that if a bird poos on you, then it's good luck, so I told Chris that we better have alot of good luck!

You should have seen me trying to help Chris get the bird out! I was scared it was gonna attack me, so I kept screaming when it would fly towards me and ducking down. It was a PITA to get it out, but it was really funny.

OMG I wish I could've seen that LoL!!!! I had that happen to me one time and I managed to trap it in our bedroom and open a window.. crazy birds LoL.

I seriously think if we would have video taped it, we could have sent it in on America's Funniest Home Videos! I had a splatter screen that I cook with in my hand and Chris had the broom. lol I was trying to block the door to the hallway so it wouldn't fly in there. And the poor bird kept flying into the mirror thinking it was another room. It was so sad. How we ended up getting it out was putting a piece of bread on top of the door frame, it landed there and ate the bread, and then realized that it could fly out. Before that, I don't think it realized where the door was, it kept flying from side to side, and it was hanging upside down on the ceiling like a bat! We have one of those old "popcorn" ceilings or whatever you call it.

Bre! That's so funny! That was how I was! I was like "Awww. Poor bird!" and then I would scream because it would fly towards me! lol
