So I'm FINALLY able to make a post about our Chicago trip. Our internet has been screwy and now I have this horrible chest cold.
Anyways, I will NEVER take a long road trip like that when I am 7 months pregnant AGAIN! We stopped every hr to stretch and even broke the trip in half and took 2 days to travel there and back. But my legs and feet got so incredibly swollen. I was sitting in a heated seat, and had disposable heat pads wrapped around my calves. We tried to have me sit with my feet up in the backseat but the seats were like buckets and actually made it worse. It took an extra day each trip just to get myself back to normal. I was so afraid of blood clots. Not to mention, this baby is starting to kick his little feet in my ribs, so slouching a bit in the car made that super uncomfortable.
But on top of that, the trip was nice. I met alot more of Ed's extended family and got to site see only a little. I was alittle disappointed about my shower. Apparently, it was planned more as a meet and greet lunch than a fun party. I'm very thankful for the gifts we received but I was looking forward to a silly shower, KWIM? Luckily, my family is having a local shower at the end of March, and they've already asked if I mind silly things.
Here are some pictures of our trip and the gifts. (I wasn't thrilled how I looked in my blue sweater lol)

So sorry your traveling sucked - but glad you had a nice shower! You will love that Combi stroller! That's the one my sister has and I use it allll the time with Emma!
So cute! Sorry that the drive was hard on you, I haaate long drives, so I imagine how cruddy it must have been pregnant! I love the Willow Tree figure And all of those 1 piece outfits will come in handy- Reid wears stuff like that all the time!
Girl, you look absolutely gorgeous! I'm jealous at how awesome you make seven months pregnant look, haha. Is Ed from the Chicagoland area? I'm originally from Chicago - south side, but I'm a Cubbies fan anyway.
All of those little outfits are so cute, I bet you just can't WAIT to see your little guy in them!
Holy crow Morgan when did you get to be SEVEN months!? Time is flying! Don't hate on that blue top... you look FABULOUS! Seriously... all of the pics of you sitting down in the chair opening stuff, you look just tooooo cute! You always have such amazing healthy looking hair too! I love it! The outfit with the stars is my favorite, but everything else you got is way cute too! I loved that you guys made a build-a-bear! Sorry the shower was more 'stuffy' than you'd hoped... I'm glad you're getting two!
