So my cycles are normalizing, I'm finally ovulating, and my LP is lengthening, but I still have a problem. I make NO CM! I get creamy in the 2WW, but nothing around O. I need some remedies. I'm already taking EPO before ovulation. I do take Zyrtec, which might change things, but i'm allergic to my cat and not sure if i can live without the drug. Any tips?

I'm not sure how much help I can be but I struggled with the lack of CM when I was NTNP. I'd heard that carrots could help so and I love carrots so I would usually eat a lot of them but I increased my intake more when I was NTNP. I didn't notice any increase in CM but I did get a BFP. Can't say if they worked though but if you like them, you can try them.

You can also try Pre-seed which so many people rave about. It's supposed to be sperm friendly and really helpful when you don't have a lot of CM. I'd bought a set to try for when we officially started to TTC but got my BFP the same month I ordered it so I never got to try it.

Good luck!

pre-seed can help right at O.

I took guafinesin(plain robitussin) starting 5 days before O until I was sure I had O'd. 2x a day or so....I can;t remember, it's been a while.

Maybe drink more water? I've been drinking a lot of green tea lately (just b/c i love it, not for cycle reasons) and I've seen a huge increase in EWCM. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. I thought maybe I read somewhere at some point it can increase CM.

I've had similar problems in the past couple of cycles....this month I started taking Acidophilus (sp) It's a probiotic and I noticed a major increase! I only started taking because I was on a strong round of antibiotics but I am stilll taking it....

I already take bactobacillus, EPO, and L-agrinine. This month i'm adding L-carnitine, herbal tea, and guaifenesin... and will eat carrots lol.
Drugstore.com sells rite-aid brand guaifenesin fabs for super cheap! I'll let everyone know if it works.

Have you thought of trying the Pre-seed?

I was going to say Oil of Evening Primrose too. I remember Jess using it? Maybe? Someone did anyway, I forget who!

I would be careful with the EPO. It can mess up a woman's cycles, and honestly, does not really help a lot of women with cm. At least I never found actual long term TTCers that had any cm increase with that stuff. It made my cycles worse. That was awhile ago though.

I think drinking way more water and adding green tea can have the best effect of increasing cm. And, though everyone is different, extra daily exercise helped my cycles become more normal and my cm to get better (before my pcos got crazy insane). So if your cycles start getting wonky again you may want to try that. Not that you don't exercise now, but just that increasing the exercise and doing it daily helps sometimes.

Glad things are getting better!

From what I've read on EPO it can delay your ovulation so I stopped taking it. It didn't seem to be doing anything to my cm anyway--but I do also tend to get several days of EWCM even if it isn't a lot.

I hadn't heard about green tea helping with things, sounds like its worth a shot! I hope you find something to work great for you!!!

Staying hydrated is definitely a big part of it. I've heard things about Mucinex, but I don't remember what it was. Maybe you can google it? I've never heard of the green tea thing, I'm going to have to look into it.

We use Pre-Seed and love it. I'm thinking about continuing to use it even after we are no longer ttc.

I tried Robitussin, green tea, lots of water, probably several other things but didn't see much of a difference in my case. I used Preseed for several cycles and was using it the cycle I got preggo. The preseed certainly won't hurt and it might help.

Thanks ladies

I have been using preseed, but wanted to try to increase my natural stuff. (I would use preseed even if I did have cm. That stuff just rocks)

I'm drinking Female Toner Herbal Tea. I think the schedule of a large cup of tea a day is helping me to drink more. Also helping is my new love affair with Soy Milk. I LOVE the stuff.

Michelle- You might be right about the EPO. I've been using the EPO for two cycles and didn't notice any difference, though my cycles have been more instead of less regular. Though I'm connecting the regularity more with the b6 and plain old Time.

I think I must be getting bored TTCing.... so I'm experimenting lol. I even bought a book on traditional chinese medicine and fertility lol.
