I said I would post pics of the living room when we got it situated right with the new furniture. We haven't put up any pictures yet or placed our decorations where they are going, but we have the furniture where it is going and we painted the walls. We decided to paint the walls green. They were a neutral grey color. We think it looks really nice with the furniture. The leather on the couch and love seat is dark brown even though it looks black in the pics, and so is the coffee table and the entertainment storage units on each side of the TV. I don't know if we should get new curtains or not? What do ya'll think? I think the black doesn't look bad, but I'm not sure. Thanks for looking!
Don't mind the mess on our mantel. We put all of our decorations and pics up there while painting.

Thanks so much! We need new carpet though. I hate the pink carpet! lol You can tell that it was an old lady's house. Mari, I love doing interior decorating, I just don't have the money to do everything I would like to. I have a project I might try doing on the fireplace. I wanna get boards or wood that resemble bamboo and nail them onto the front of it, instead of it being just a plain boring white fireplace. It's kinda hard to explain, but I found a picture of something that gave me the idea and now I can't find the picture anywhere! I haven't figured out exactly what I want to do and how much it would cost though.

Looks good! I think the curtains are fine. You have the dark on the windows and on the couches so I think it looks great!
