I had my baby shower last Saturday. We had such a wonderful day... despite the 6 inches of snow we got that day!!! We had 55 people rsvp but had 10 not come due to weather. And DH invited some of his friends to help bring presents home.... so we were up to 51 people. It was fun. We got alot of nice things. The big items we got were our travel stroller with infant seat, our swing, and pack and play. We got alot of clothes, and blankets and such. We also got a cute piggy bank that says "our little princess" and has a tiara on it. Oh and on our invite the moms asked people to bring a book instead of a card for the baby... we had alot of people bring us more than one book and we received 58 books. It was sooo wonderful to spend the day with so many close family and friends.

Mom to Seamus (7.18.06) and Kieran 4.8.09). Seamus has Aspergers, SPD, Lazy Eye and is also Color Deficient/Blind, basically he doesnt' see green or red. I'm still learning more but feel free to ask me about it if you have any questions!

Great stuff! What a humungous shower - I don't think I've ever heard of that many people being at a shower! I love the book idea too!

Awesome! I love the book idea. I wish I could use it but my friends throwing the shower haven't asked for my input on anything so I feel funny bringing it up.
I can't belive you only have 7 weeks!!!
