Where can I get a decent nursing bra?

I've already had to by new bras once this pregnancy because my bbs have grown. But now I feel the newer ones STILL aren't big enough. Most don't seem to have enough coverage or supportive straps that don't cut into your skin. I just figured I might as well just get some nursing bras so I won't have to buy even MORE new ones once baby comes.

BRU carries nursing bras. Just last week we started carrying maternity clothes too, and now there is a lot more of a selection of nursing bras.

I would recommend buying only a few once you have you baby thats when I recommend actually getting sized and buying some "fancier" ones. I still can't wear the ones I bought before having LJ my ladies got and are pretty big now

At the hospital I had a awesome LC come she sized me and even went and bought the bras for me!

As much as it stinks, I really, really recommend NOT buying any underwire nursing bras until after your milk comes in and your engorgement period is over. I'm typically a 34 D but right now I'm a 34 F - that's a big difference. As far as soft cup bras go, the Original Nursing Bra by Bravado is hands down my favorite AND there are always killer deals on them on eBay. I absolutely hate sleeping bras but that's because I'm so large-chested that they offer zero support. When you are ready for an underwire nursing bra, check out Medela's Seamless Underwire - it ROCKS!

Oh, and I totally have that hands-free pumping corset. It looks utterly ridiculous but it allows me to read or surf the 'net while pumping, which is awesome because I find pumping sooooo boring.

I'm going to agree with Kate! All mine are the crappy ones from Motherhood Maternity and while they serve the purpose the first few months they offer zero support and just make me look like crap. That's why I ditch them after a couple months and go back to regular bras--bigger of course. Next baby I'm going to invest in a few Bravado bras--they seem so awesome and get great reviews!

You might want to get them a little bigger now too. Before getting pregnant with Liam I was a 34A and during pregnancy went to a 36B then after he was born a 38C. During my pregnancy with Loch I stayed at a 36B but after he was born (and still now) I'm either a 38C or a 36D. Huge difference!

LMAO!!!

I don't live in the US but perhaps BRU, Destination Maternity (includes Motherhood, Mimi, Two Peas in a Pod), perhaps BuyBuyBaby, JCPenny, Target...

The only advice I can offer seeing as I'm in the UK.... make sure you get professionally measured after baby is born... and buy one then. I was in a 36F the day I went to buy my nursing bra (Kirsty was 5 days old), and I bought and left the shop wearing a 32H. These are UK sizes, but it paints the picture... I was in completely the wrong size and OMG did I know it. I was in agony!!!

Is this the one you're talking about?

Does it really offer you that much support?

Anyone know where to get larger sizes? Motherhood Maternity doesn't carry any in my size and Walmart stopped(can't spend more then $20 on 1 bra, and if I did it'd be my only one) Sorry to hijack your thread Morgan.

What size are you thinking by "Larger"? You could try JCPennys

Yep, that's the one and I loooove it. It is very supportive, I'm walking around with F cup boobies and it's the only type of bra I'm using at the moment.

Right now I'm a 40 DDD...I didnt' get much larger with my son(always pushing a DDD but was just fine in a 42 DD) but this time they've already started growing at basically 33weeks.
I've had a specially fitted and ordered bra from JC Penny and it sucked and was way too small when it came(This was before I had kids, about a year or so before)

Yep, I agree...don't buy nursing bras till later on. I bought some last time & the only ones I really liked were the sleeping ones. I'm not a large-chested person even when BFing, so it worked for me. I ended up just using bigger sized regular bras, but I was only partially BF'ing and I never NIP. I don't even know yet if I'm going to go w/ nursing bras...I just got a baby au lait cover up and it might be sufficient. I still have my nursing bras from last time, though, so if they fit this time around I suppose I'll give them another go.
