Really late last night, around 2 am or so, I was talking on the phone with my dad and sitting in bed. All of the sudden, I felt like I was about to pee myself! I got up and went to the potty, but nothing came out- but my undies were a little moist. I have been told to make sure to note the smell of leakage, so I did... it was kind of sweet and almost bleach-y. I laid back down and waited for half an hour to see if anything else happened. Nothing... so we didn't go into the hospital. I figured that maybe I had just accidentally peed a little? I have been so many times that I feel almost silly for thinking something ELSE could be happening, ya know?
Anyway, since I was a charter for so long, I decided to check the position and feel of my cervix this morning just out of curiosity. As soon as I slipped my finger in, there it was. Completely fleshy, soft, could barely even *feel* it because it was so fleshy/soft. I mean, it was RIGHT THERE at the opening of my vajay! I am not having anything that really feel like contractions... I just feel like I am on a bad period or something... Cramps and shooting pain throughout my abdomen, back and legs along with tenderness and soreness of the vajay.
So I am thinking I will call the doc maybe to see what he would recommend for us to do. I just was wondering if any of you ladies had any experience or knowledge of this?

call your doctor! That could be a small leak in your placenta, or even your bag of water breaking-its not always a gush. (yes it could be you just peed also, but with your history I would CALL THE DOCTOR!).
OH and 100% NO VAGINAL checks when that happens....if it is your bag of water breaking every time anything goes up there it increases your infection rate by alot! Only sterile vaginal checks should be done post water breaking when your pre-term. ALSO no BATHS.
And its safer to assume it was water bag instead of pee until proven otherwise!

I called the doc, but only talked to a nurse that wasn't too helpful honestly. Ergh, whatever. Anyway, she just said "oh, that happened to my sister's cousin's best friend" yadayadayada. Basically said if anymore leaking or pain to go straight to L&D. So no help at all there really. I already knew to go into L&D if I thought I was in labor or something. It is just that i would like my doc to tell me WHAT to do in this situation. So if this pain and yuckiness doesn't go away about an hour after my next terb dose, I am going in. Mom's intuition knows, right?
Ang- the reason i checked was because when I wiped I *felt* something like hanging out at my opening. It freaked me out enough to want to check what it was out of curiosity.

I would go in right away if I were you. I wouldn't be waiting around or doing any calling! But I have short labors and my water always seems to be the reason haha.
Oh and definitely do not do ANY cervix checks!!! Big no no if it is your water as it increases your rick of infection. No baths or DTD.

The nurse called back to check in on me, but it was a different woman this time... A little nicer, it seemed. Anyway, I asked if I could possibly get an in-office appointment but that was a 'no', and she told me to go into L&D. I am just waiting for DH to get his head out of his butt and stop being a turd so we can go.
THIS IS NOT MY DAY. GAHHHHH.

Oh my gosh I hope everything is ok. KUP and take it easy. I've heard of small tears happen, and resting on your side and drinking lots of water can help it repair itself, but with all you and Alice have been through you should just go in and get checked out.
Hope all stays well and baby stays cooking!

Call it a friendly intuition! My random calling you late last night to see how you were! lol
I really hope this is nothing hun. What a pregnancy you're having lately! I doubt you will be reading this while in the hospital, but in the off chance you do, please have William call me to update me. Hang in there woman...you're doing so well so far, and you're right to trust your mother's intuition! HUGS I'm hoping and praying this is nothing but another reminder from Alice that she is wanting to show you who's boss!
