I just took a FRER with very diluted urine and got a BFP!!!! OMG, I am in a state of shock. I can't stop shaking. It's light but no mistaking it's there!! OMG, OMG, OMG! I guess 3 is my lucky number! It feels so surreal- I thought I would feel different but I dont (physically, I mean). Please send tons of sticky dust my way. I am so worried because I got exposed to nitrous oxide and anesthetic gasses this past week. Not on me, but I was in the same room when they were being used. Do any of you nurses know much about this. The nitrous was only for about 10 minute- it was being used to freeze a wart off a dog. Still I'm worried sick, but so so happy. I can't believe this is finally happening for me and Daniel...

OH CONGRATS!!!!!!! And don't worry about the gas....mother nature does this wonderful thing for women. The embryo doesn't have get any cross contamination from mom till 6 weeks! So drinking/drugs/etc before 6 weeks don't get to it. Once that 6 weeks hits the embryo is more attached and functioning with your uterus so then it does matter. So your in the clear! Also what you described I don't think would do anything even past 6 weeks, so your really good.

YAY JESSIE!!! Congrats!!! I see it!!
And don't worry about the gases... Sevoflourane and isoflourane (if you used those) are FDA category B. I get small wiffs of Sevo every Tuesday and all is ok with my baby (I wear a mask though, as an extra precaution and i don't touch poop anymore -- dog, cat, or otherwise, and i always wear gloves when touching blood/urine now.)
