So I took a weekend trip to Manilla this last weekend to get my computer in the shop (should be it fixed and back in two weeks, or I get a new one in two weeks-either way 14 days and counting!). And I got a new battery for my camera so the little one I can carry around everywhere works now!!!
Anyway we did a lazy day where we just shop/ate/spa/pool all day. Well I took a little pregnancy nap from 12-3pm next to the pool--WITHOUT sunscreen (i just was so tired from shopping I feel asleep for 3hrs). So I am BURNED! Like I have those purple/red burns in spots. OUCHY! I am an lathering on aloe vera lotion about every hour and drinking TONS of water...but it still hurts. Anyone got any burn help ideas for me that are preggo friendly?????

I know some of you just got drilled with tons of snow this week--right now I wish I was you instead!

Here is a wonderful picture--- (note I can't wear a bra right now because of the burn and you can see where my necklaces where laying while I napped!)

Put the closing bracket on your IMG tag, we can't see it!

That does sound REALLY painful though. I used to burn like that when I was little, except I would get huge blisters on my shoulders. I would go to the pool for 6 hours at a time with no sunscreen! Now that I look back at it, I have no idea why my parents let me do that.

Anywho, all I can remember is don't pop the blisters if you have any. I'm sorry I'm no help, I know you must really be feeling like poo right now.

Ahhh, I hate sunburn and believe me I've gotten it like that plenty of times... Cold bath would feel good on it and just keep the aloe vera on it!!! I would just lay around naked without a shirt on

aloe, oatmeal lotions/baths will help keep hydrated, drink plenty of fluids, STAY OUT OF THE SUN!!!, and make sure to wear soft materials against the skin(silk, cotton, jersey...nothing too tight or with a lot of seams).

Ouch! Pics like these make me happy to be brown. Although, I think I am losing melanin b/c these days (pre-preggo days) I can actually burn. The whiteness in me is coming out!

Hope you feel better soon. I have used fresh aloe vera plant before and it helped a lot.

I am assuming you may be going braless for a while....hahahaha

Soak some towels in cold iced tea and lay them on the burns.

OUCH!!!!! the only thing I can suggest thats preggo-friendly is putting vinegar on it to take the burn off of it. It will burn like hell but it will be worth it!! Also do they sell the latocain with the aloe vera there?! if so Id get that, I used it while pregnant.

Ouch! That does look bad, now that I can see it. I think it is time to go get some silk sheets and walk around the hotel room completely naked. (Don't forget to put up the do not disturb sign!) Do you have racoon eyes?

Edited because... I'm a dumb dumb and I misspelled ouch! I mean really, how do you misspell ouch?

...Am I misspelling misspell? It looks funny.
