Okay so me and MIL went and did some shopping today. I took my moby wrap and carried Dustin every where we went (SO FUN!). Anyways, two times people addressed him as HER and SHE. I thought this was SO funny cause you can't see anything but like his face (even his head was covered) and his little hand. Why even say anything gender specific?? Do I look like I could only be a mom of girls? haha. So silly people are.

Another lady actually asked me if I had a natural birth? Does that automatically come with wearing your child? She seriously said it like she KNEW already that I had one, nodding in a knowing way when I said yes. Why did I even say yes? *not to self "just walk away from the nutty people"* haha.

Oh and another lady made a comment about how she had to do a double take cause she didn't know if I was pregnant or carrying the baby... yes because when I'm pregnant I grow babies in my boobs and chest. haha.

I got and STILL get boy comments! We were at KFC the other day and this girl asked how old my son was.... Tay was in all pink pants!!! I said SHE is 16.5 months and the lady was like ohhh I'm sorry, I thought she was boy.. HOW?! Everyone assumes I'm having a boy recently because I'm low and I feel like saying it's an old wives tale AND she's dropped and engaged in my pelvis, that tends to happen at the end of pregnancy LoL!

I always got that with both the boys. They could be cloaked in head to toe blue and I'd get "Oh she's so cute!"

At my niece's birthday party last year Lochlann was 6 months old and one of the ladies from sil's family said "Oh, she looks just like her big brother!" I said "He's a boy." And she goes "Oh, I thought you had a girl. Oh well, I guess a boy is ok too." Gee thanks lady.

I only had one person ask me if Adriana was a boy.. I think that day she was wearing neutral colors, which she doesn't wear that often.. I didn't mind it.. Adriana was a infant that had lots of hair so it was really hard to tell.. But I guess the Pink and Blue car seat with the PINK Urban Bundle Me didn't give it away that she was a girl.. lol

I really don't get upset at comments like that.. Strangers always come up to me and tell me how beautiful my daughter is. They seem to love her olive skin tone, dark hair, and dark eyes.. Which isn't common where I live.. The area where I live is 99% Caucasians. I can understand why she stands out so much..

I've only seen a few people wear their baby.. My only thought was "How did you get that on in 10 degree weather? or Boy it must be hot wearing that outside in 100 degree weather!" But I never would ever question them.. It's kinda rude.. Or even ask what type of birth they had..

LMAO!!!!

I'll have Amara covered in pink from head to toe and persons will still ask if it's a boy or girl. I guess I should be grateful they asked but I think...yep, I'm going to have my son decked off in pink because he's so confident about his masculinity that he can work it!

People are WEIRD!

When DH and I were in Florida a month ago visiting my BFF and her family- DH was holding her then 6 month old Alayna by the pool. Alayna was wearing all pink with a pink hat and a pink blanket. And a man came up to him and said 'is that a dude or dudette'. DH looked at me like 'WTH'. And said 'Its a girl'. The guy was like 'I wasn't sure'. We all agreed he was an idiot!!!

People are weird for sure. My SIL said people refer to her baby as a boy when she is decked out in all pink. And when she told them it's a girl they were like "oh well she looks like a boy." How rude! In her case I think it's because her girl has a lot of dark hair.

I got that last time when I was pregnant too...Abby dropped really early so I was walking around "low" from like 32 weeks or so.

I guess I've been lucky b'c no one has ever asked if Abby was a boy. And trust me, there are a lot of stupid people where I live so that's pretty much miraculous!

How weird! I know i've called babies him when i don't know, not sure why. I'm not looking forward to random strangers talking to me!! I know it happens during pregnancy.. obviously it doesn't stop once you have the baby either.
