Ben attended his first ever middle school basketball tournament today!

My cousin was playing...there were throngs of pre-teen girls and lots of noise and Ben was generally NOT impressed. Even worse, he was SO not impressed that he refused to nurse the entire time we were there, or even take a bottle. So, he didn't eat at all between 6:20 (when I nursed him) and 12:30 (when we left the tournament). He was happy as a clam when we left! I hope someday he gets used to being around lots of people, as I come from a large family!

I spoil Ben and warm his lotion up by putting the bottle in hot water while I give him a bath. Tonight, when I got up to get the lotion, before I could even blink he was turned over and ready to scoot away! he looked sooooo cute, I couldn't help but snap some pictures of him!

His eye's are just to die for. And thats a good Idea about the Lotion. I may try that. Although Cambria has reached the stage where she wont stay still for anything and cries like Im hurting her Do you use a bath seat for him?

omg Amy, Ben HATES when I put lotion on him!! He screams like I am putting acid on his body. But, being a Minnesotan, his skin gets dry and he especially needs it on his legs, since he's quasi-crawling now and he does better without pants...his poor little knees get red. It makes me laugh, because how many of us would love someone rubbing warm lotion on us and massaging us?!

I still have him in his baby tub, just on the infant/toddler side. We tried the big tub a few times, but he likes to move and splash, and tip over. And he HATES laying on his back in the tub.

Both my boys always love getting massaged with lotion--its an after bath must! LOL
