Well, I would say that SO and I had a really great anniversary this weekend, but I can't... You see, I just can't call him my SO anymore because he is now officially my DARLING FIANCE!!! Yep, you read right, he finally proposed!!! 
Let me start off with some pics. My awful camera just does not do the ring justice! I love this ring. WAY better than the rings I kept seeing in my goofy proposal dreams!  (As you can see, no colorful lights light up the diamond from the back, and the wedding band and engagement ring do match. lol!)

Remember when I threw my hissy fit about getting engaged? Yeah, he had the ring already! My family was in on it too. Saturday was our dating anniversary. We went to my dad's house for the weekend, and my dad and step mom wanted to take us out to a nice steak dinner, saying that it was their engagement anniversary (which was true). So DF and I and my dad and step mom went out to a really nice steak restaurant, which just so happens to be where they went on their first date. When we got there we were taken to a room in the restaurant that was totally secluded from everyone. It had one table for four in it and pretty flowers and such. Before we even ordered DF got on his knee and proposed. Both me and my step mom started crying. It is wierd because I never thought I would cry, I'm not much of a happy crier. The waiter then brought us some champagne to celebrate! It was just perfect.  I'm so happy! Then of course my step mom and I just immediately started gabbing about wedding plans. When we got home my parents gave me a really pretty little sculpture of a woman that says "he loves me" on the bottom (made for engagement), and another matching "first dance" sculpture. They are so pretty! I should have taken pics of them for you guys but I didn't even think about it and DF isn't here to upload them for me! Sorry 'bout that.
Anywho, we're engaged!!! Woohoo!!!

We've been together two years. He took me ring shopping to get an idea of what I like in Dec 2007!
We haven't set a date just yet. It will either be this summer or fall (we aren't going to have a huge wedding, hence the short engagement). I think my step mom has made more plans than I have! She went wild as soon as I gave her the okay to. She had like five flower books when I got to their house this weekend! I'm really happy she is so excited and wants to be involved so much, though. I told her that I think she is going to be my bridezilla and I will be calm and mellow!

Awww CONGRATS!!!!! That's so exciting! Wow, he was a smart one looking at rings and then waiting over a year to propose. That would throw anyone off! The ring is beautiful BTW!!
