With Easter being right around the corner, I find myself eating lots of black jelly beans!!! I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvve black licorice and anything with that anise flavor!!! But I rememeber reading something before about black licorice and pregnancy.

I LOVE the black jelly beans.
I don't think you have anything to worry about though Anna. They're talking about real black licorice and the jelly beans and most other candy on the market is artificially flavored.

Yea I'm not worried... cuz I eat like 5 at a time.... I found it says if you eat 2 bags of jelly beans or licorice in a week it could start early labor! But it also said eggplant parmesean could too

Ewwww I hate the black ones!!! I also hate the weird flavors like butter popcorn and root beer blah!!!
That's crazy that it can make babies come early!!

I don't care for jelly beans but the black ones are okay. I get this toothpaste that tastes like black licorice. It's that anise flavor. It's a trader joe's brand of natural toothpaste. Have you ever had that? I like it much better than mint toothpaste but my DH hates it. I make him use it anyway cause I'm mean like that.

NO I never knew that Trader Joes had that kind of toothpaste... but I'm going tomorrow to get it!!! I have an organic toothpaste and I made DH use it too, he hates it too

It's in a box with purple on it. Let me know how you like it! It's cheap too!
P.S. I can't believe you are already 35 weeks pregnant!! I'm so excited to read your birth story. Are you birthing in a hospital or birthing center? I forgot what you are doing. I know you have a midwife. What name do you have picked out? I know I will remember once you tell me.

I know! 35 weeks!!! YIKES!!! I'll be 8 months on Saturday... 30 days left!!! I am birthing at a birth center, connected to a hospital. And I have a doula, she is a student, but its someone to help DH out, and I'm going to give her a bunch of study material copied from hypnobabies to show her what I want her to help me with. And yes our baby girl's name will be Alexa Mary. (Mary is my moms name). And DH and I both picked Alexa as our fave name each! We just LOVE her name!!! I can't wait to hold her and nurse her and fall in love!!!!

I don't like regular jelly beans in general, but I do looooove me some Jelly Belly jelly beans - especially the pear flavor. YUMMY!!

Yuck, black jelly beans! I never understood the love of black jelly beans. I like the other flavors, as long as they are fruity tasting.

haha that is funny- alot of you gals like the fruity colored ones, where I can't stand the fruity colored ones. I LOVE THE BLACK ones... love black licorice, and anything flavored!!! And I LOVE OUZO!!!! But haven't had a drop since before I was preggo!!! I miss it!!!
