Sorry I haven't been posting much. It's really hard for me to keep up with two boards. I am doing great! I don't think I've ever been so happy in all my life. We still haven't told our families yet about the little bean. I'm waiting to actually see a live, healthy baby on ultrasound. I have my first appt/scan scheduled for March 30th when I will be 7.5 wks with an OBGYN in Germany. I've never seen her, but she used to work in Canada so at least she will speak English! I'm quite nervous about losing this little one. I think it would be better if I was more ignorant and didn't know how often m/c happen. I check my undies and toilet paper like a million times a day!

Other than that, I have no preggo symptoms. I'm a little tired but other than that, nothing! Not even bloating or sore boobs. I'm hoping that's normal. It's seems like everyone in my ddc has loads of symptoms already. And so many of them have already had scans. I guess I just have to be patient.

Well, that is it for now. I read posts here everyday and will try to post a bit more.

Hi Jessie!!! So excited for you!!! And I didn't have any symptoms til 6-7 weeks. I felt great up til 6 weeks, went hiking and canoeing (safely ). ONce 6 weeks came- I started feeling nauseaus and very tired. Food was just gross. Chocolate milk was a life saver!!! And I didn't have my first dr appt til 8 weeks. So keep doing what you're doing, try not to worry! I know its hard, cuz I was the same way, and it feels like it was ysterday! And today my ticker moved to the last box!!! So enjoy every moment cuz it goes by fast, and its so much fun!!!!

Congrats again

I'm so excited for you! My symptoms did not kick in until 6+ weeks and my advice would be not to hope for them. I used to long for something just to offer a little reassurance that I was still pregnant and then when the MS hit me full force, well I was then wishing that I was one of those ladies who didn't have any symptoms. My definition for preggo symptoms are those symptoms you will love to hate!!

ETA: I didn't have a scan until 9 weeks and it almost drove me crazy but because my scan was so far, I got to see a lot more than I would have if it was earlier on.

I didn't get many symptoms either. I had hot flashes at night but other than that, my first real symptom was morning sickness which hit at 6 weeks on the day....so you are totally normal! Congrats again I'm so happy for you guys!

I'm sure your little one is doing just fine in there. You are still very early. You might get more symptoms in a couple weeks. I never had many. Try to check in with us and give us updates about all the exciting things.

Maybe you are going to be one of the lucky ones that gets by with no "morning" sickness! Wouldn't that be nice? I'm glad to hear you are doing so well. I know March 30th must seem like ages away when you are waiting to see your little bean for the first time. This is all just so exciting! I can't wait to hear the "telling the family" story... I love those stories.

Yep I didn't have much either until 6-7 weeks but really this time was pretty nice to me. I was just very tired and didn't have much an appetite. I only had a little m/s. I can't wait to hear how you tell the family---got any ideas yet?

I never even got morning sickness, so hopefully you'll be as lucky as me! Oh, and I still check the TP a million times a day - I'm not sure if I'll ever stop. hahaha.

Congrats again! I'm so happy for you!

I'm so glad things are going well for you Jessie!!! I didn't get any symptoms with Liam until I was 6 weeks. Lochlann started much earlier and were much much worse. With both boys I checked the TP every single time up until I went into labor--can you say crazy obsessive?

I'm still hoping to join you over there in November!
