Hi, I thought I'd share some pics.

We have a glider that we got from my brother and SIL. I wanted an ottoman to go with it, but I didn't want to pay $100+ for a new one. I found a (lovely!) mauve one on Craigslist and bought some fabric that matched well and recovered. Total cost was less than $25.

Nice job!!! I may have to re-do my glider...it's suede and let's just say that suede and a 3 year old don't do well together! And your crib is so pretty!!! You guys look cute standing in front of the crib!! You guys must be excited!!!

Cute!!!! I know what you mean about the ottoman. I didn't want to spend $100 either so I just never got one. Yours matches perfectly. You'd think they go together.

such cute pics! Awesome job on the glider ottoman. My glider ottoman is very stained from DS puking on it as a baby - I want to recover mine - I wish you could come and do mine - you did fabulous!

Thanks ladies. Dh didn't get why I wanted pics of him putting the crib together but I told him it was not optional.

Recovering the ottoman was very easy, I just cut out the fabric and had Dh use the staple gun. I think it would be more difficult to do a glider though.
