I started taking photography lessons from a professional photographer in my area. So far I have only had two lessons but they are going really well, he is an excellent teacher.

This last lesson we went to the park and worked with the flash unit (Canon Speedlite 580ex II, my gosh that thing is HEAVY!) along with lighting and shadows. This is a picture from the shoot (he graciously offered to pose for me)

I need to take Photography classess.. I'm still using the automatic settings on my Canon XSI.. It's hard to concentrate on taking pictures when your object is constantly moving.. lol
