Very Nice! Just a random question for you though. Why Is It up on blocks like that? Is there a reason? Ive never seen a place like that?

Its just a raised house! Around here that is basically how all the new construction homes are being built. Most homes have to be built atleast a few feet up.. The building codes have changed a lot since Hurricane Katrina so you will not see many new construction homes built straight on the ground!

Very pretty! It's got that classic, homey look to it that I like. And I love the big trees! I don't like the new construction around here because they always cut down all the mature trees, I don't understand it.

Amie - your house is FABULOUS! Did you pick the paint colors inside. I can't wait to see pics of it all decorated! I'm really into decorating right now with just doing Harrison's room and now the nursery....I'm driving DH bonkers! 
By the way - is this your first home you'll own? If it is - you'll get a nice tax credit (considering you qualify in every other way)!!! Just a thought!
